Karkotak Kaalsarp Dosha(कर्कोटक काल सर्पदोष): When the Ketu planet is in second place and Rahu is in the eighth place in the horoscope, then the Karkotak Kaalsarp Dosha is formed; in this condition the people gets hindrances in getting fortune. Karkotak Kaalsarp Dosha Remedies:

Hold energized “Shiva Yantra” on silver around the neck on Saturday.
Starting from Saturday feed the Laddoos of Bundi to the ants for 27 days.
On Saturday, take 100 grams of Deodar , 100 grams of mustard and 100 grams of benzyl, and boil it in 3 litres of water, by filtering that water with cloth take one cup of that and pour it into bathing water and take bath with this water for 27 days.
In the middle finger of the right hand, a triangular Coral gemstone of seven and quarter whit on copper to be worn on any Tuesday.
Flow coconut or raw coal flowing water on Friday.
Once in a year, the Recitation of RudraBhishek and Mahamrutunjay should be done in home.

Karkotak Kaalsarp Dosha Precautions:

Do not use any intoxicants like bidi, cigarette, liquor etc. If you do not even do, donate bidis, cigarettes, alcohol as much as you drink and smoke, at any time on Saturday.
Do not buy any old item, nor take it from anyone.
Please Don’t wear black, blue, brown clothes around waist, wear bright colours clothes only.
Do not sleep in the day, and work out early in the morning, or make a run in the park.
Never make a partner in trade and business. Beware of neighbors too.
Do not leave any open space around your residence. If you do not reside in that place wherein a vacate plot or park is situated around.
Do not purchase any vehicle in your name and be alert while driving.

प्राण प्रतिष्ठित चांदी का “शिव यन्त्र” शनिवार को अपने गले में धारण करे।
किसी भी शनिवार से 27 दिन तक चीटियों के लिए बूंदी के लड्डू दान अवश्य करे।
किसी भी शनिवार 100 ग्राम देवदारु, 100 ग्राम सरसों तथा 100 ग्राम लोहवान लेकर 3 लीटरपानी में उबाल कर, उस पानी को कपडें से छान कर, एक कप पानी से पानी से 27 दिन तक स्नान करें।
सीधे हाथ की मध्यमा ऊँगली में सवा पांच रत्ती का प्राण प्रतिष्ठित “त्रिकोण मूंगा रत्न” किसी भी मंगलवार प्रातः को धारण करे धारण करे।
शुक्रवार को पानी वाला नारियल या कच्चा कोयला बहते जल में प्रवाहित करें।
वर्ष में एक बार रूद्राभिषेक व महामृत्युन्जय का पाठ अपने घर में अवश्य ही करवाए।

कर्कोटक काल सर्पदोष के लिये सावधानी:

बीड़ी, सिगरेट, शराब आदि कोई भी नशा न करे, यदि करनी भी पड़े तो, जो बीड़ी, सिगरेट, शराब आप पीते हो, उतनी ही मात्रा में बीड़ी, सिगरेट, शराब शनिवार के दिन किसी भी समय दान करे।
कोई भी पुरनी वस्तु, न तो खरीदें और न ही किसी से दान में ले।
काले, नील, भूरे रंग के कपडें अपनी कमर से न पहने, हमेसा उजाले रंग के कपड़े पहने
दिन में न सोये, और सुबह जल्दी उठे कसरत करे, या पार्क में दोड़ लगायें।
व्यापार में कभी पार्टनरशिप न करे।
अपने घर के सामने कोई खाली जगह न होने दे, जैसे घर से सामने खाली प्लाट, या पार्क।
वाहन अपने नाम से न खरीदें और किसी का भी वाहन चलाते समय सावधानी बरतें।
