पोर्टिको घर के सौन्दर्य करने के लिए,घर के सामने बनाया जाता है। आजकल जगह कम होने के कारण गैराज न हो तो पोर्टिको बनाकर उसके नीचे गाडी खड़ी करके काम चला लिया जाता है। पोर्टिको आवरित आंगन की तरह करने हेतु आवरित आंगन पोर्टिको की तरह प्रयुक्त होता है। पोर्टिको के निर्माण की योजना भूखण्ड के मुख पर निर्भर करती है,वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसार पोर्टिको की छत घर की मुख्य छत से नीची होनी चाहिए।

यदि घर दक्षिणोन्मुख हो तो,वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसार दक्षिण पूर्व की ओर दक्षिण दिशा में पोर्टिको बनाना चाहिए।

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स (Vastu Chakra Tips) अनुसार बिजली मीटर:

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारघर के स्वामी का मुख्य शयनकक्ष दक्षिण या पश्चिम दिशा में होना चाहिए और पलंग दक्षिणी दीवार से लगा होना चाहिए, जिससे सोते समय सिरहाना दक्षिण में और पैर उत्तर दिशा की ओर हो, यह जान लें कि मनुष्य का सिर उत्तरी ध्रुव है और पैर दक्षिणी ध्रुव है।

यदि दक्षिण दिशा में सिरहाना नहीं रख सकते तो, दूसरे विकल्प के रूप में पलंग पश्चिमी दीवार के साथ रखकर सिरहाना पश्चिम की ओर रखना चाहिए,वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारअन्य दिशाओं में पलंग और सिरहाना रखने से बुद्धि का संचालन ठीक से नहीं होता है।

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स (Vastu Chakra Tips) अनुसार तहखाना (Basement):

आजकल स्थान की कमी के कारण लोग घर में तहखाना अथवा भूमिगत निर्माण करने लगे है। वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारतहखाना के लिए उत्तर-पूर्व नीचा होना चाहिए, तो तहखाना या भूमिगत निर्माण भी उत्तर, पूर्व या उत्तर-पूर्व में बनाना चाहिए। अत: भूमिगत निर्माण दक्षिण, पश्चिम, उत्तर पश्चिम या दक्षिण पूर्व दिशा में कदापि नहीं बनाना चाहिए, ऐसा करने पर आपदा एवं हानि का मुख देखना पड़ता है।

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारघर के मध्य में भूमिगत निर्माण या तहखाना नहीं बनाना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार भूमिगत पानी की टंकी भी उपर्युक्त निषेध दिशाओं में न बनाएं।

नौकरों या सेवकों के लिए घर दक्षिण पूर्व या उत्तर पूर्व में होना चाहिए, लेकिन घर बनाते समय वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारध्यान रखना चाहिए कि उत्तर और पूर्व दिशा की दीवारों पर वजन अधिक न हो, इस प्रकार निर्माण कराने से उसमें रहने वाले सेवक भी प्रसन्न रहते है।

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारद्वार के सामने खिड़कियाँ होनी चाहिए जिससे चुम्बकीय चक्र पूर्ण हो सके। ऐसा करने पर ग्रह में सुख शान्ति रहती है, खिडकियों का निर्माण सन्धि भाग में नहीं होना चाहिए,वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारपश्चिमी, पूर्वी और उत्तरी दीवारों पर खिडकियों का निर्माण शुभ होता है।

जब किसी द्वार से कोई प्रवेश करता है, तो उसका तात्पर्य है, कि वह एक नए वातावरण में जा रहा है। द्वार में प्रवेश करते समय द्वार से निकलती चुम्बकीय तरंगे बुद्धि को प्रभावित करती है। अत: प्रयास करना चाहिए कि द्वार उत्तर या पूर्व में ही हो। दक्षिण और पश्चिम में द्वार नहीं होना चाहिए।

वास्तु चक्र टिप्स अनुसारघर के मुख्यद्वार की स्थापना अच्छे मुहूर्त में करनी चाहिए। प्रवेश द्वार अन्दर की ओर खुलना चाहिए और यदि दो पल्लों में हो तो उत्तम है। दरवाजा स्वत: खुलना व बंद नहीं होना चाहिए। दरवाजे के खोलने व बंद करने में आवाज नहीं होनी चाहिए। घर के मुख्य द्वार पर मंगल चिन्ह बनाना चाहिए।
