घर में अधिक दरवाजे हों, तो जीवन शक्ति ‘ची’(chi) घर में ठहर नहीं सकती और घर के बाहर निकल जाती है। इस कारण घर का वातावरण अशांत रहता है। उपाय, ज्यादा से ज्यादा केवल 5 दरवाजे खोलें और अन्य दरवाजे जैसे बेडरूम और रसोई का दरवाजा बंद रखें।
