Indian astrology/भारतीय ज्योतिष: Indian astrology is in itself an important and most ancient science. In the beginning of creation, when the Indian Mahrshis (Hermits) looked on the vision of heaven and the moon, stars and planets, etc., they began to examine microscopically and became so frightened, that they compared them the as gods. In many places in the Vedas, planets, moon and the sun were shaped as gods and many of them have also been praised and worshipped, but as the vision of Hermits grew sharper, they felt that they must study diligently, because their study of human origins and main mysteries of creation will be understood. Not only this, but also felt the effect of these planets on the human in person and to the public, so the human pleasures, sufferings, loss – profit, progress-deterioration and the effect of these planets were fixed . The rules of mathematics and calculations of time, speed of sun and moon and also the subtle representation of planetary motions, and latitude-longitude position of planets-stars, based on correct locations to determine the status of the planets and stars has been named ‘theory’. Hora of What is Indian Astrology?

Scholars name it as Jatakshastra. In astrology, the word is ‘Ahoratra’, from which, when from the left ‘A’ is removed and “tra”is removed from the last letters ‘Hora’ remains and so it named. “Ahoratra’ means day and night, so little in terms of day to night’ Hora ‘word came to be known. Twelfth position in the horoscope of Jataka, interconnected vision of the planets in it and those planets’ analysis are under the same scripture.

From the beginning itself, on the basis of the planetary movements, the human life future was being detected , but slowly the subtlety added, because the gyration of the twelve zodiac signs, the planets move, depending on the zodiac signs and the signs related planets. But later it was observed that the creation of any zodiac sign is made by quarter past two stars. If the study of the planets is done by the method of constellation pattern, there may be finer result. By this way in later period the more accurate sidereal astrology grew and the predictions were becoming more correct.

On this scripture, many texts were composed of. Famous scholars of the scriptures were Varahamihira, Narchandra, and Siddhsen- Dundiraj etc. They understood and analyzed the Scriptures extremely microscopically and they formed the principles which are still valid under Horashastra. Hora scriptural developed a new method in the eleventh century, under which planet force, planet class and Vinshottri condition etc were clear and he turned out to be more authentic and true. Since then till today, the predictions are being made on these principles by which authenticity of astrology became clearer.

Major part of astrology is Code also. Under this, ground – laundering, house- beginning, house- entry, and reservoir – building, well- building, etc. are discussed for auspicious moment of work schedule.

Around the ninth century under this part, ritual has been integrated into it, through which the sacrifices were held. Then, this has been demonstrated by the fact that was authentic through sacrifices one will be able to overcome the negative effects and can achieve success in those tasks by rituals, which are difficult or impossible to do in our lives. Around fourteenth century these parts were so developed that the life of the part related to the inclusion of all the subjects began to be useful.

Question Scripture:

The question scripture is the main part of astrology because it can predict immediately. Through astrology if a person wants to predict, horoscope of the person is required. But many times it is seen that the individual’s date of birth, time and knowledge of the situation is zero, then there will not be possible to build a horoscope.

Without horoscope prediction is possible only through the question scripture. It is made under the horoscope of the moment – specific, the moment in which the question is specific. By that time, through the individual’s horoscope starts responding to the question. This prediction holding itself completely, so this part is the most important and significant.

Question Scripture has three parts of which Prasnaskshar- theory, theory and sound knowledge, theory key question is ascendant. The tone in the scriptures has written extensively on the theory of knowledge. It will question the wisdom Choodaamani, Chndraonmiln question, texts etc. Ayagyantilak are prime.

Further Varahamihira’s son Prithuyasha had progressed the science and the created several books on Scripture and made it clear that the question of individual predictions can be explained, which is clear and completely authentic. During post medieval period a lot of research works were done in the sciences and the scholars reached to perfection

Prognostic Scripture:

Prognostic scripture is the fifth organ of astrology and also named as Nimit scriptures. In this scripture the language of the animals and birds are studied and it is seen that when the person moves, the location of any animal or bird are in which direction and how they speak and what they speak. These have impacts in the life of that person.
