What is Baglamukhi Gutika?
Baglamukhi Gutika (बगलामुखी गुटिका), is the gutika of the eighth Mahavidya among the ten Mahavidyas of Tantra Maa Baglamukhi, Maa Baglamukhi Devi resides in this Gutika. This Gutika is used in all types of Baglamukhi Sadhna and Valga Tantra Prayog. This Gutika protects from all types of Tantra Prayog, Tantra Obstacle and Enemy Chakravyuh.
Baglamukhi Devi is also famous by the name of Pitambara. The word Baglamukhi is made up of two words, first ‘Bagla’ and second ‘Mukhi’. Bagla means ‘cause of distortion’ (Vagula is a bird, whose ability is to hunt by standing still at one place) and Mukhi means face, which means, turning the face in the opposite direction, in this way the mother is called “Baglamukhi”.
In the rare Mantra Maharnava – it is written about this
Bramastram ch pravakshyami khedya pratyaya karanam।
yasya smaranamatren pavano̕pi sthirayate॥
That means, even the fiercest wind becomes still by just remembering Maa Baglamukhi. Baglamukhi Gutika is a very powerful Gutika, which is fully energized by Baglamukhi Mantras. How to wear Baglamukhi Gutika?
On Navratri, Holi, Shivratri, eclipse or any Saturday, after taking bath etc., sit on a yellow woolen aasana between 9:30 pm to 11 pm facing east or the direction in which your temple is facing. Place the idol of Maa Durga in the temple or in front of you on a yellow cloth. Make a triangle in a plate in front of the idol and fill it with yellow mustard seeds.
Place Baglamukhi Gutika on it. Light a lamp of pure ghee in front of the Gutika. Thinking of the 16 powers of Maa Baglamukhi and reciting Baglamukhi mantra 16 times, apply turmeric tilak on the Gutika. Worship with yellow oleander flowers, yellow fruits, flowers and sweets. After this, chant the following mantra 11 mala with Baglamukhi rosary. After this, chant 3 mala of Baglamukhi mantra for 21 days.
