What is Matangi Gutika?
Matangi Gutika (मातंगी गुटिका) is a rare and effective gutika, energized by the mantras of Mahavidya Matangi. This gutika is used in Matangi Sadhna, Matangi Prayog and Matangi Tantra Shatkarma. How to wear Matangi Gutika?
On Navratri, Gupt Navratri, Diwali, Holi or any Friday, after taking bath etc., sit between 9 pm to 11 pm on a red woolen asana facing south or in the direction in which your temple is facing. In the temple place an idol or picture of Maa Matangi, keep a plate in front of you. Make a triangle in the middle of that plate with vermilion (the angle of the triangle should be downwards) and write “Matangyain Namah” in the middle of the triangle.
Place Matangi Gutika on the written mantra. Place 10 betel nuts in the form of ten Mahavidyas in ten directions around the Gutika. Apply vermilion tilak on each betel nut. Light a lamp of pure oil in front of the Gutika and worship Matangi Gutika with red flowers, fruits, sweets and vermilion. After worship, chant 11 rosary of Matangi mantra with Matangi rosary. After this, you can place Matangi Gutika in your home, shop or office for protection or wear it in your neck. From the next day onwards, chant Matangi Mantra 3 mala for 21 days.

मातंगी देवी का शारीरिक श्याम वर्ण का है। वे अपने मस्तक पर अर्ध चन्द्र धारण करती हैं, जो तीन नशीले नेत्रों से युक्त हैं। देवी अमूल्य रत्नों से युक्त रत्नमय सिंहासन पर बैठी हैं, नाना प्रकार के मुक्ता-भूषण जो उनकी शोभा बढ़ा रहीं हैं। मातंगी देवी ने गुंजा के बीजों की माला धारण की हैं। देवी चार हाथों से युक्त हैं, इन्होंने अपने दायें हाथों में वीणा तथा मानव खोपड़ी धारण कर रखी हैं और बायें हाथों में खड़ग धारण करती हैं, अभय मुद्रा प्रदर्शित करती हैं। जो देखने में सोलह वर्ष की एक युवती जैसा स्वरूप स्वरूप है।

मातंगी गुटिका कैसे सिद्ध होती है?
मातंगी गुटिका नवरात्रि, काल रात्रि, सिद्ध रात्री, ग्रहण, होली जैसे सिद्ध मुहूर्तो पर महाविद्या मातंगी मंत्रो से पुशचरण कर सिद्ध की जाती है। जिसमे जो कि एक जटिल विधान है, सामान्य रूप से आजकल के पंडितों के माध्यम से करना संभव नही है। इस क्रिया को उच्चकोटि के सिद्ध साधक ही संपन्न करते है।

मातंगी गुटिका कैसे धारण करें?
नवरात्री, गुप्त नवरात्री, दिवाली, होली या किसी भी शुक्रवार को स्नान आदि करके रात्रि के समय 9 बजे से 11 बजे के बीच, लाल ऊनि आसन पर दक्षिण दिशा की तरफ मुख करके या फिर आपका मंदिर जिस दिशा की तरफ हो, बैठ जाए, मंदिर में माँ मातंगी की मूर्ति या चित्र के सामने, एक थाली रखें, उस थाली के बीच सिंदूर से त्रिकोण बनाकर (त्रिकोण में कोण नीचे की तरफ हो) उसमें, त्रिकोण के बीच में “मातंग्यैं नमः” लिखें।
लिखे हुए मन्त्र के उपर मातंगी गुटिका को स्थापित करें। गुटिका के चारों तरफ, दस दिशाओं में, दस महाविद्या स्वरूप 10 सुपारी रखें, प्रत्येक सुपारी पर सिंदूर से तिलक करें। गुटिका के सामने शुद्ध तेल का दीपक जलाकर, लाल फुल, फल, मिठाई, सिंदूर से मातंगी गुटिका का पूजन करें। पूजन के बाद मातंगी मन्त्र की 11 माला का जाप मातंगी माला सें करें। इसके बाद मातंगी गुटिका को रक्षा के लिए घर, दूकान या ऑफिस में स्थापित कर सकते है या गले में धारण कर सकते है, दूसरें दिन से मातंगी मन्त्र की 3 माला का जाप 21 दिनों तक करें।
