Kularnava Tantram Book, kularnava is one of the main tantras of the Kaula sect. It is a subject of great authenticity, authority and respect. It has been quoted profusely in almost all subsequent tantric works. Its language, as is the case with other tantras, provides information mostly in a codified form, which cannot be easily understood by everyone. He could not find time to do so and this task accomplished by an ordinary student like me. Shri M.P. Pandit has a very scholarly study of this tantra in English. But it cannot in any way be a literal translation. Moreover, he has also left many elisions in his commentary. When I started the task of this translation, I never thought that it would be so difficult. As I proceeded, I found that the information was highly codified in some places, I was at my wit’s end. No modern or classical dictionary can be useful in interpreting such passages.
As a result, I had to read a large number of Tantras, besides discussing the subject with some orthodox Tantrikas. Now, that the work is complete, almost all the information has the decoding and translation to the best of my ability. The mantras, various nyas, and other ritual details have the translation and interpretation. Since the long mantras of nyas and some of the larger mantras was cumbersome in Roman. I have chosen to give them in the Devanagari script. Sadhak and these Sadhak might have acquaintance with the Nagari script. All other portions apart from these have translations.
