“तन्त्र सबके लिए” मिशन है। तन्त्र जन कल्याण के लिए है; यह मेरा निश्चित विचार है। हर समझदार व्यक्ति केमन में यह बात उठना स्वाभाविक है कि-“आज का विज्ञान जितना उन्नत हो गया है और जिस तरह हमारे दैनिक जीवन की प्रत्येक आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति करता है, उसी प्रकार तन्त्र विज्ञान से भी पूर्ति सम्भव है क्या?
और अगर पूर्ति नहीं का सकता, तब फिर तन्त्र से क्या लाभ है?” इस प्रश्न के अनेक उत्तर हो सकते हैं और वास्तव में हैं भी, सबसे पहला लाभ तो यह है की तन्त्र साधना के बाद लाभ अवश्य और चिरस्थायी होता है, इसलिए ही अधिकांश लोग तन्त्र का सहारा लेना पसन्द करते हैं। इसके साथ ही एक एक कटु सत्य यह है की तन्त्र साधना का सफल और असफल होना दोनों ही संदिग्ध रहते हैं। तन्त्र में सफलता और असफलता दोनों ही साधक पर निर्भर करती हैं।
इस संदर्भ में एक कथा प्रस्तुत है। एक तान्त्रिक थे। उन्होंने अनेक सिद्धियाँ प्राप्त कीं। कुछ समय बाद एक न्य साधक उनके पास आकर बोला-“मेरे पास समय नहीं है। सिद्धि शीघ्र कैसे प्राप्त हो, इसके लिए कोई उपाय बतलाइए?””सिर्फ तीस वर्ष लगेंगे।“ तान्त्रिक ने कहा।
“अरे इतना समय किसलिए?” उसने पूछा।
“मुझसे गलती हो गयी कहने में, तुम्हें साठ वर्ष का समय लगेगा। शीघ्रता करने में तीस वर्ष और सन्देह दूर करने में अतिरिक्त तीस वर्ष लगेंगे।“ तान्त्रिक ने उत्तर दिया। यह सुनकर वह घर लौट आया। घर आकर उसने फिर सोचा-“सब कुछ प्राप्त करने के लिए अगर 60 वर्ष भी लगाने पड़ें तो कोई हर्ज नहीं। वह तान्त्रिक के पास फिर आया तथा 60 वर्ष तक साधना करने को तैयार हो गया। अभी बीस वर्ष भी पुरे नहीं हो पाये थे कि उसको सिद्धि प्राप्त हो गई। “इतने अधिक समय में होने वाला कार्य इतने कम समय में कैसे पुर्ण हो गया?” इसका भेद साधक द्वरा पूछे जाने पर तान्त्रिक ने बतलाया कि उतावली और संदेह दोनों ही साधना मार्ग में बाधक हैं। अगर विश्वास और श्रद्धा जम जाये तो सिद्धि में अधिक समय नहीं लगता।
तन्त्र विज्ञान पर सबका एक जैसा अधिकार है। तन्त्र के उपयोग हेतु सभी स्वतन्त्र हैं। अन्तर केवल इतना है कि मैंने घूम-घूमकर उन सब जगहों को देखा है और जो अनुभव मैंने प्राप्त किये हैं, वह आपके समक्ष रख रहा हूँ। यह मानकर चलें कि अगर मेरा अनुभव निकाल दें तो मेरे पास कुछ भी शेष नहीं है।
