The ancient language of our country has been Sanskrit. There was a time when Sanskrit was not limited to only Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads etc. But it was also known in the public mind as a language. As rich as Sanskrit literature is. No other literature in the world is as rich. There is one more thing; Any aspect has been expressed openly in Sanskrit literature without any hesitation.

This is possible only when any country is completely prosperous and its people are happy. The result of this has been that there are theaters in all the famous temples from Khajuraho, Konark, Puri. Those theaters do not represent luxury but represent grandeur and prosperity.

Tantra-Mantra and many of its parts have been widely written about in Sanskrit literature. Every stanza of a Veda like Rigveda is an energetic mantra in itself. The creation of Tantrashastras is also a contribution here.

Description of Tripura Rahasyam Book:

Tantra-Mantra has immense potential, this is a well-known fact that is self-evident. That some elements have misused it is another matter. But the richness of this literature cannot be denied due to misuse. Tantra and Mantra have represented the harmonious and pleasant aspects of life ranging from Maran, Mohan, Ucchatan, Vashikaran etc. Probably it is the Mahi tradition which has attracted us towards the prevalence of Tantra and Mantra.

‘Tripurarahasyam’ is a special book of Tantric literature. Although the field of ‘Tantran literature’ is vast, yet generally it has been divided into three parts. Those Sahaiva Shakta and other forms of Vaishnava Ganapatya Prabhuti Tantrashastra are included in it. Its specialty compared to other spiritual practices is that along with spiritual attainment, it also provides material prosperity. According to Tantric theory, no living being attains Shivatva unless he is freed from Ashtapaga.

Expansion of Tripura Rahasyam Book:

Those eight bonds belong to the seeker – hatred, shame or shyness, tax, doubt, condemnation or evil, pride in one’s family, temperament and caste. As long as those eight things surround the living being, he is not free from the cycle of life and death. To be free from these things is to attain Shivatva-

“Vrna, Sajja, Bhavan, Jugupta Cheti Pachami.
Kulan Sheelan Tatha Jaatirashto Pasah Prakititah.
Pachavadi Bhavejjivah Paashmuktah Sadashivah.

Tripura Rahasya is divided into three parts (1) Greatness, (2) Discussion and (3) Knowledge. Presented is the blessed Gyanaskhand. Gyan Khand is divided into a total of twenty-two chapters. Its total number of verses is 2163. The number of verses in the Mahatmya section is 6687. The remaining matter of the discussion section is now a matter of historical discussion, because no copy of it is available.

अर्धम्दुलसितं देण्या श्रीजं सर्वार्थसाधकम् ।। एवमेकाक्षरं ब्रह्म यतमः शुद्धचेतसः। ध्यायन्ति परमानन्दमया ज्ञानाम्बुराशयः ।।

हमारे देश की प्राचीन भाषा संस्कृत रही है। एक समय था जब संस्कृत केवल वेद, पुराणों, उपनिषदों बादि तक सीमित नहीं थी, बल्कि यह भाषा के रूप में भी जनमानस में जानी जाती थी। संस्कृत साहित्य जितना समृद्ध है। दुनिया का कोई भी साहित्य उतना समृद्ध नहीं है। एक बात और है; किसी भी पक्ष को बिना किसी हिचक के साथ संस्कृत-साहित्य में खुले रूप से प्रकट किया गया है।

यह तभी सम्भव होता है जब कोई भी देश पूरी तरह से समृद्ध हो और वहाँ की जनता सुखी हो। इसी का परिणाम रहा है कि खजुराहो, कोणार्क, पूरी से लेकर सभी विख्यात मन्दिरों में रंगमण्डप रहे हैं। वे रंगमंडप विलासिता का नहीं बल्कि वैभव और समृद्धि का परिचय देते हैं।

त्रिपुरा रहस्यम् पुस्तक विवरण:

संस्कृत-साहित्य में ही तन्त्र-मन्त्र और इसके कई अंग-उपांग व्यापक रूप से लिखे गये हैं। ऋग्वेद जैसे वेद की हर हथा अपने-आप में एक ऊर्जस्वी मन्त्र है। तन्त्रशास्त्रों की रचना भी यहीं की देन हैं। तन्त्र-मन्त्र में अपार क्षमता है, यह सर्वविदित बौर स्वयंसिद्ध है। कुछ तत्वों ने इसका दुरुपयोग किया है, यह दूसरी बात है। लेकिन दुरुपयोग के कारण इस साहित्य की समृद्धता से नकारा नहीं जा सकता। तन्त्र और मन्त्र ने मारण, मोहन, उच्चाटन, वशीकरण इत्यादि से लेकर जीवन के समरस और सुखद पक्ष तक का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है।

सम्भवतः मही परम्परा है जिसने हमें तन्त्र बौर मन्त्र की व्यापकता की ओर आकर्षित किया है। ‘त्रिपुरारहस्यम्’ तान्त्रिक साहित्य का एक विशिष्ट ग्रन्थ है। यद्यपि ‘तन्त्रन्नसाहित्य’ का क्षेत्र विशाल है, फिर भी सामान्यतया इसे तीन भागों में विभक्त किया गया है। वे सहैव शाक्त और वैष्णव गाणपत्य प्रभूति तन्त्रशास्त्र के अन्य रूप इसी में समाहित है।

त्रिपुरा रहस्यम् पुस्तक विस्तार:

अन्य साधनाओं की अपेक्षा इसकी विशिष्टता यह है कि आध्यात्मिक उपलब्धि के साथ यह भौतिक ऐश्वर्य भी प्रदान करती है। तांत्रिक सिद्धान्त के अनुसार कोई भी प्राणी जब तक अष्टपाग से विमुक्त नहीं होता तथ तक उसे शिवत्व की प्राति नहीं होती। वे अष्टबन्धन साधक के हैं- नफरत, शर्म या हया, कर, शक, निन्दा या बुराई, अपने खानदान पर घमण्ड, मिजाज और जाति जब तक वे आठ बातें जीव को घेरे रहेंगी तब तक उन्हें जीवन-मरण के चक्र से मुक्ति नहीं है। इन बातों से मुक्त होना ही शिवत्व को पाना है-

“वृणा, सज्जा, भवं, जुगुप्ता चेति पचमी।
कुलं शीलं तथा जातिरष्टो पासाः प्रकीतिताः।
पाचवडी भवेज्जीवः पाशमुक्तः सदाशिवः ॥”

त्रिपुरारहस्य तीन खण्डों में विभक्त है (१) माहात्म्य, (२) चर्चा बौर (३) ज्ञान। प्रस्तुत धन्य ज्ञानसखण्ड है। ज्ञानखण्ड कुल बाईस अध्याय में बंटा है। इसकी कुल श्लोक संख्या २१६३ है। माहात्म्य खण्ड में श्लोकों की संख्या ६६८७ है। बची बात चर्चाखण्ड की तो वह अब ऐतिहासिक चर्चा का विषय है, क्योंकि इसकी कोई प्रति उपलब्ध नहीं है।
