अन्य विषय वैसे नहीं। जो कुछ हो, अभी भारतवर्ष में अनेक मनुष्य इस बात को निर्विवाद स्वीकार करते हैं कि उत्त शास्त्र की भूत, भविष्य और वर्तमान किसी भी बात में सन्देह नहीं है। शास्त्रों में लिखी हुई बाते सत्य हैं। उनमें साम्प्रत में जो कच दोष लोग लगते हैं
वे मनुष्यों के आलस्य, कम परिश्रम करना इत्यादि दोषों के कारण से हैं। अब भी कितने ही गणक अपने शास्त्र में इतने निष्णात मिल सकते हैं कि, वे इस विद्या के मर्म को जानते और सन्धिग्धों के संशयों को निर्मूल करते हैं।
