Narayan immediately took hold of Bhrigu’s feet and started asking if there was any injury to the Rishivar’s foot. But Goddess Lakshmi did not like this behavior of Bhrigu Rishi and she became angry with Vishnu. The anger was about why God did not punish Bhrigu Rishi. In displeasure, Goddess Lakshmi left Vaikuntha. When Lord Narayan started searching for Goddess Lakshmi, he came to know that Goddess got rebirth on the earth as a girl named Padmavati.
