Meaning: When the sign of Aquarius is encouraging, then all grains become expensive in this way. Besides, there is fearlessness in the world. 75.

Meghah sv’ambu varshati.
Kṛṣināśam chadurbhikṣam pūrvadeśe mahatā. 76

Meaning: When Jupiter is in Aquarius, then a little rain falls, agriculture destroys, and there is a great scarcity of food in the eastern region. 76.

Ghaṭagata kṛdurbhikṣam pracuraṃbhavet.
Medinī sukhasaṃyuktābhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ. 77

Meaning: When Saturn is in Aquarius or Pisces, there will be a severe famine, and the earth will be devoid of happiness without a doubt. 77.

Kumbharāśigataḥsaurirvarṣa mātraṃtadardhakam.
Kālidyāupakanthecatatradhānyamahārghatā. 78

Meaning: When Aquarius is occupied by Saturn, then for a year or six months, on the banks of the Yamuna River, all grains become very expensive. 78.

अर्घप्रकाश ज्योतिष पुस्तक

अगर इस ज्योतिषीय पद्धति से अर्घ दिया जाय तो देव या देवी का आशीर्वाद शीघ्र प्राप्त होता है अन्यथा नहीं। अर्घ देने से पहले व्यक्ति को शुद्ध होकर निर्मल वस्त्र पहनकर देव या देवियों का नाम लेकर और मंत्रोच्चारण कर फिर देना चाहिए। इस पुस्तक में कौन मंत्र किसके लिए पढ़ना है सुन्दर तरीके से वर्णित है৷ जिसका कुछ अंश हिन्दीटीकासमेत निम्नलिखित है৷

भूसुते कुंमराशिस्थे सर्वधान्यमहार्घता।
एवं प्रजायतेर्घ लोकमध्येतुनिर्भयम् ॥७५॥

अर्थ – कुम्भराशिका मंगल होवे तब सब धान्य महिंगे होवे इस प्रकार अन्न महिंगे होवें और संसारमें निर्भयता रहे ॥ ७५ ॥

कुंभराशिगतेजीवेमेघः स्वल्पांबुवर्षति।
कृषिनाशंचदुभिक्षं पूर्वदेशे महता ॥ ७६ ॥

अर्थ – कुंभराशिका बृहस्पति होवे तब मेघ थोडा जल वर्षे और खेतीका नाश और दुर्भिक्ष होवे और पूर्वके देशमें अन्नका महिंगा भाव रहै ॥ ७६ ॥

घटमीन गतेशुक्रेदुर्भिक्षंप्रचुरं भवेत् ।
मेदिनीसुखसंयुक्ताभविष्यति न संशयः ॥७७॥

अर्थ – कुंभका वा मीनका शुक्र होवे तब अत्यन्त दुर्भिक्ष होवे और पृथ्वी सुखसे संयुक्त हो जावे इसमें संदेह नहीं ॥ ७७ ॥

कुंभराशिगतः सौरिर्वर्ष मात्रं तदर्धकम् ।
कालिद्या उपकंठेचतत्रधान्यमहार्घता ॥७८॥

अर्थ – कुंभराशिका शनि होवे तब वर्षदिनतक अथवा छ: महीनोंतक यमुना नदीके तीर सब धान्य महिंगे होवे ॥ ७८ ॥
