How to Install Shri Ganesh Yantra?
On Navratri, Gupt Navratri, Diwali, Holi or any Wednesday, after taking bath etc., sit on a red woolen seat between 5 am to 7 am facing east or in the direction in which your temple is facing. Install Shri Ganesh Yantra in the temple on a red cloth on a heap of whole rice. Then light a lamp of pure ghee in front of the yantra, burn incense and do puja. After this, chant the following mantra 540 times i.e. 5 Mala using a Kamalgatta rosary or a Red coral rosary. नवरात्री, गुप्त नवरात्री, दिवाली, होली या किसी भी बुधवार को स्नान आदि करके सुबह के समय 5 बजे से 7 बजे के बीच, लाल ऊनि आसन पर पूर्व दिशा की तरफ मुख करके या फिर आपका मंदिर जिस दिशा की तरफ हो, बैठ जाए, मंदिर में श्री गणेश यंत्र को लाल वस्त्र पर, साबुत चावल की ढेरी पर स्थापित करे। फिर यंत्र के सामने शुद्ध घी का दीपक जलाकर, धुप दीप देकर, पूजन करें, इसके बाद निम्नलिखित मन्त्र का 540 बार यानि 5 माला का जाप कमलगट्टे की माला या लाल मूंगा माला से करे। जाप के बाद यन्त्र को आप इस यन्त्र को घर, दूकान या ऑफिस में स्थापित कर सकते है या अपनी साधना के अनुसार प्रयोग करें।
