बटुक भैरव गुटिका के सामने शुद्ध तेल का दीपक जलाकर, सिंदूर से गुटिका पर तिलक करें, लाल फूल, फल-फूल-मिठाई से बटुक भैरव जी का पूजन करें, फिर भैरव जी का ध्यान करें, मन ही मन अपनी रक्षा, कार्य सिद्धि की प्रार्थना करें, इसके बाद निम्न मन्त्र की 11 माला का जाप भैरव माला से करें, मन्त्र जाप के बाद, बाद गुटिका को धारण कर लें या दुकान, ऑफिस, वाहन में स्थापित करें৷ इसके बाद दूसरे दिन से भैरव मन्त्र की 3 माला का जाप 27 दोनों तक करें৷
