As a result: 1. Kavi Narayan, 2. Hari Narayan, 3. Antariksh Narayan, 4. Prabuddha Narayan, 5. Drumil Narayan, 6. Harbhajan Narayan, 7. Chamas Narayan, 8. Arvihotri Narayan, and 9. Pippalayin Narayan, in the form of these nine Narayanas. They took incarnations on Earth. They are 1. Matsyendranath, 2. Gorakhnath, 3. Jalandhar Nath, 4. Kanifanath, 5. Bharthari, 6. Gahin Nath, 7. Revan Nath, 8. Nagnath, and 9. Chaprattinath. Besides, they carried out beneficial works for the establishment and spread of the Nath sect.
The nine Narayanas incarnations were described as “Ayoni Sambhav”, meaning none of them were born from a woman’s womb. Moreover, some emerged from the belly of a fish, some from a firepit. Some from an elephant’s ear, some from a cupped hand, and some from an alms bowl. Some from the belly of a snake, and some from a bush of Kusha grass, etc.

फलस्वरूप: 1. कविनारायण 2. हरिनारायण 3. अन्तरिक्ष नारायण 4. प्रबुद्ध नारायण 5. द्रुमिल नारायण 6. करभाजन नारायण 7.चमस नारायण 8. अर्विहोत्री नारायण तथा 9 .पिप्पलायन नारायण त्रिदेव्ताओ के प्रति रूप इन नौ नारायणो ने क्रमशः 1. मतस्येंद्रनाथ 2.गोरखनाथ 3. जलन्धरनाथ 4. कानिफानाथ 5. भर्तृहरी 6. गहिनीनाथ 7. रेवणनाथ नागनाथ 8. नागनाथ 9. चपर्रटीनाथ के रूप में पृथ्वी पर अवतार ग्रहण कर नाथ पंथ की स्थापना एवं प्रचार प्रसार के लोक उपयोगी कार्य किये गये৷
नौ नारायणो के उक्त सभी अवतार अयोनिसम्भव थे, अर्थात् इनमे से किसी का भी जन्म स्त्री के गर्भ से नही हुआ था৷ कोई मछली के पेट से, कोई अग्निकुंड से, कोई हाथी के कान से, कोई हाथ की अंजलि से, कोई कोई भिक्षा पात्र से, कोई नागिन के पेट से और कोई कुश की झाड़ी आदि से प्रकट हुआ था৷
