Out of the three methods of Vedic astrology – Parashari, Jaimini and Tajik, Hora Skandha of astrology involves Tajik astrology. Knowing the entry time of each year at the full age of the native, it is the job of astrological-Tajik scripture to make knowledge of the subtle fruits of subtle time from every month, day and day of the person through the year horoscope. That is why the year horoscope is closely related to the birth chart. In this context, the works composed by Hindu mystics and astrologers, mainly Tajik Nilakanthi, Hayan Ratna and Tajik Shastra composed by Keshav, are very unique texts. Acharya Neelakanthi composed Tajik Neelakanthi in the sixteenth century in three tantras – anesthetantra, vantantantra, Prashnatantra. The cognate is the basis of both other systems, this system considers knowledge of year entry, mathematics calculation, volatile vision idea, Saham, Muntha and 16 Yogas.

वैदिक ज्योतिष शास्त्र की तीन पद्धतियाँ- पाराशरी, जैमिनी और ताजिक में से ज्योतिष शास्त्र के होरा स्कन्ध में ताजिक ज्योतिष का समावेश होता है। जातक की पूर्ण आयु में प्रत्येक वर्ष के वर्ष प्रवेश समय को जानकर वर्ष कुण्डली द्वारा वर्ष पर्यन्त जातक के प्रत्येक मास, दिन व दिनार्ध से भी सूक्ष्म समय का शुभाशुभ फलों का ज्ञान कराना फलित ज्योतिष-ताजिक शास्त्र का काम है। इसीलिए वर्ष कुण्डली का जन्म कुण्डली से घनिष्ठ सम्बन्ध है। इस सन्दर्भ में हिन्दू मनीषियों और ज्योतिर्विदों द्वारा की गई रचनाएँ मुख्यता ताजिक नीलकण्ठी, हायन रत्न और केशव द्वारा रचित ताजिक शास्त्र आदि अत्यंत अनूठे ग्रन्थ है। आचार्य नीलकंठी सोलहवीं शताब्दी में ताजिक नीलकण्ठी की रचना तीन तंत्रों – संज्ञातन्त्र, वर्षतन्त्र, प्रश्नतन्त्र में की थी। संज्ञातन्त्र अन्य दोनों तंत्रों का आधार है इस तन्त्र द्वारा वर्ष प्रवेश का ज्ञान, गणित गणना, वलाबल दृष्टि विचार, सहम, मुंथा और 16 योगों का विचार किया जाता है।
