पुस्तक के बारे में मैने पंजाब के एक ज्योतिषी, जिनका नाम संभवतः टेक चंद था, ब्रह्मा ज्ञात करने की निम्नांकित विधि समझी थी৷ पहले ग्रह और राशि बलों की गणना कीजिये৷ फिर लग्न तथा सप्तम भावों में जो अधिक बली हों, वहां से षष्ठमेश, अष्टमेश तथा द्वादशेशों के बल देखें (इनमें शनि, राहु और केतु की गणना नहीं होती है)৷ इनमें से सर्वाधिक बली ग्रह ब्रह्मा होंगे৷ मैने इस विधि का प्रयोग मेरी कुण्डली के अतिरिक्त अपने अत्यन्त निकट के लोगों की कुण्डली पर करके इसे सही पाया৷

यह दशा इन सभी मामलों में जीवन के कठिन समय का निर्धारण करने में बहुत सहायक रही৷ स्थिर दशा पर कार्य करते समय मुझे अनुभव हुआ कि इसका प्रयोग सिर्फ अशुभ जानने के लिये नहीं किया जाना चाहिये৷ इस दशा से जीवन में होने वाले प्रत्येक उतार चढाव का बोध भी ठीक चर दशा की भांति ही हो सकता है৷ जब मुझे इस विधि की सत्यता पर पूरा भरोसा हो गया तो मैंने भारतीय विद्या भवन के ज्योतिष के छात्रों को इसे पन्द्रह वर्षों तक सिखाया और उन्होंने भी इसका सफलतापूर्वक प्रयोग किया৷
