Normal Shakun 3/सामान्य शकुन Comb: The comb which is used to set the hair of a dead person by the undertaker should not be allowed to be used to anybody. This will call the death of the person who uses it. In Europe mothers never comb their child until unless the child’s teeth are grown. It is said that if they comb before the growth of teeth, when it will grow, either these will be brittle or weak.
Normal Shakun 3: Cotton:
If a piece of cotton is adhered to the dresses, it signifies that the person is going to get an important letter. This is a worldwide concept. It is also said that if the cotton makes a shape of any alphabet, the letter usually comes from that person who has initial letter of that alphabet.
Normal Shakun 3: Door:
It is said that when a person is born or dies, the doors of the room should be kept open. This concept is a universal concept. It is also said that the back side doors should be kept closed during the birth and death of a person. It is because if the rear doors are opened, evil spirits may enter in the house. Somewhere it is also said that without closing the back doors, one should never open the front door. It is also said that if a person enters the house with left leg ahead, evil spirits may enter along with.
Normal Shakun 3: Eggs:
There are many concepts regarding the eggs of hen. It is said that if the small egg is laid, it signifies the death. If eggs are collected during the night time and brought home, it will fetch problems to the house. If the laid egg contains yellow substance, it means the owner of the poultry may die. When sailors go for the voyage, they do not call the eggs by name. They call it Roundy. After taking out the inner from a boiled egg, if a whole is made by a spoon on the shell, it is said to be providential. In no case the shells should be thrown into the fire. If thrown, the hen may stop laying eggs. In Japan, it is said that if the shell by any way falls between the feet of a woman, she may turn insane.
Normal Shakun 3: Nail:
There are many concepts on nails (Finger nails). It is believed that the clipping on the nails are used for magic. There are different qualities in ladies’ and gent’s nails. The clipping of the nails are done to remove illness of a person. The nails of a sick person is burnt or buried in the period of festival, it cures the sick person instantly. It is also considered that the person having totally bent nails is too greedy and the person who has the bent nail from centre is said to die early.
It is also said that it is inauspicious to snip the nail on Friday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are the days in which one can snip the nail. The nail of the infants should not be snipped till the kids turn a year old. Otherwise if snipped prior to that, the kid will turn a thief when grew up. The spots and wounds in the nails are having different considerations in different countries.
Normal Shakun 3: Furniture:
If anything falls from the furniture, it signifies death. Anything which hanged in the wall, if falls down or strike the curtains of window also causes death. It is also considered that if the furniture generates screech sound, it changes the climate.

Do not see anyone through a broken piece of glass. He may turn enemy.
Normal Shakun 3: Hair:
Some stories are prevailing regarding hair. Some examples are amazing. It is said that the man is having hair in his chest is not only a fortunate person but also very strong. Curled beards are also well taken. The person having hair in back and arms are said to be too lucky. It is said that they become rich and have long life. Women should trim their hair during the rising phase of moon. This will bring fortune. If any woman has hair on forehead, he will be widow soon.
It is considered that having much hair is the sign of fortune. But in India it is considered that the girl having much hair in her body will be infidel. It is also told that the person not having hair in his chest is weak by heart. Straight hair is considered as a cunning fellow. It is also told that combing hair scatters the thinking. If any hair is stuck in the comb, it is considered that good news is awaited.
Normal Shakun 3: Hair Pin:
It is considered that if one finds a hair pin, it is sure that the person will get a good friend. If the hair is hanged in any place, the luck will be favourable. When a person loses hair pin, people turn enemies. And if it is found again, it shows that someone is thinking about you.
Normal Shakun 3: Hand:
Since a long it is considered that itching in the right palm brings money and good news. And if it is in the left palm, it is a chance of loss. Hence if there is an itching sensation on the left palm, rub the palm on a wood. It is also considered that washing hands by two people in a single basin will lead a quarrel between them. But if they spit in the basin together, it will avoid the quarrelsome situation. It is also considered that wet hands signifies the cruelty of a person where as a hot palm shows the warmness. While shaking hands, be careful that left hand is ominous to shake with someone. If three persons are shaking hand at a time, it is providential.
Normal Shakun 3: Handkerchief:
The hankies are knotted to remind a work to be done. But it was considered to be sorcery against evil souls in ancient days. It was told that when the evil soul looks at it, he forgets to do harm. The girl and boy who are engaged for marriage, should not exchange hankies as it will cause fight between them.
Normal Shakun 3: Iron:
The iron has such a power that it can keep away the evil spirits from the house. But keeping old iron is not auspicious. The evil spirits are afraid of new shinning irons. Hence all the iron materials in the house should be kept shinning.
Normal Shakun 3: Cooking Vessels:
The young girls are advised not to carry hot or boiling kettle from one place to another. Neither should they hold it facing the walls. The girl may not get bridegroom for her. The heat may discolor the wall as well.
Normal Shakun 3: Bunch of keys:
If any woman is keeping a bunch of key and any of them getting rusted in spite of cleaning regularly, it is a good sign. It is considered that something she may get from any person a good sum of wealth. In Europe this was found proved. If the bunch of keys is kept under the pillow, it will save her from evil spirits.

सामान्य शकुन कंघा: जिस कंघे का इस्तेमाल किसी मृत व्यक्ति के बाल ठीक करने के लिए किया जाता हो, उसे कभी किसी को इस्तेमाल नहीं करने देना चाहिए। ऐसा करना मृत्यु को आमंत्रित करना है। यूरोप में माताएं बच्चों के बाल कंघे से तब तक नहीं काढ़तीं, जब तक उसके दांत न निकल आएं। नहीं तो बच्चे के दांत समय से पहले टूट जाते हैं और बाद में कमजोर दांत निकलते हैं।
सामान्य शकुन रुई:
यदि रुई का टुकड़ा पोशाक या सूट पर चिपका हुआ मिले तो मानना चाहिए कि कोई महत्वपूर्ण पत्र मिलने वाला है। यह पूरी दुनिया में प्रसिद्ध धारणा है। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि रुई का यह टुकड़ा किसी एक अक्षर के रूप में दिखेगा और ये अक्षर उस व्यक्ति के नाम का पहला अक्षर होगा, जहां से तुम्हारे लिए पत्र आ रहा है।
सामान्य शकुन दरवाजा:
दरवाजे के बारे में यह धारणा है, कि जब किसी बच्चे का जन्म हो रहा हो या किसी की मृत्यु हो रही हो तो उसे खुला रखना चाहिए। पूरे विश्व में यह धारणा प्रचलित है। ऐसा भी विश्वास किया जाता है कि अंदर-बाहर के सब दरवाजे खोलकर रखे जाएं तो दुर्भाग्य वापस आ सकता है। इसी तरह पीछे का दरवाजा बंद किए बिना सामने का दरवाजा खोलना नहीं चाहिये। ऐसा भी विश्वास किया जाता है। ये दोनों विश्वास इस आशंका पर हैं कि घर के दरवाजे खुले रहने पर दुरात्माएं प्रवेश कर सकती हैं। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि किसी घर में यदि बाएं कदम से प्रवेश किया जाए तो भी दुरात्मा प्रवेश हो जाती हैं।
सामान्य शकुन अंडे:
सामान्य मुर्गी के अंडों को लेकर अनेक अच्छे-बुरी धारणा हैं। माना जाता है कि बहुत छोटा अंडा यदि प्राप्त हो तो मृत्यु होने का संकेत होता है। यह भी विश्वास किया जाता है कि रात होने के बाद अंडों को इकट्ठा करके घर में लाना संकट को आमंत्रित करना है। अंडे यदि घर की मुर्गी दे जिनमें पीला पदार्थ हो तो अप-शकुन माना जाता है और अंडों के मालिक के लिए मृत्यु का संकेत होता है। नाविक जब समुद्र यात्रा पर होते हैं तो अंडों को नाम लेकर नहीं पुकारते, बल्कि ‘गोल चक्कर’ कहते हैं।
उबला अंडा खाने के बाद चम्मच से खोल में सुराख बनाना शुभ माना जाता है। ऐसी किसी भी स्थिति में इस खोल को आग में नहीं फेंकना चाहिए, ऐसा करने से मुर्गी अंडे देना बंद कर सकती है। जापान में एक विचित्र अंधविश्वास है, यदि औरत के पैर के बीच अंडे का खोल आ जाए तो वह पागल हो सकती है।
सामान्य शकुन नाखून:
अंगुली के नाखूनों के विषय में बहुत सी धारणा हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि नाखून पर पहने जाने वाले क्लिपिंग जादूगरी में काम आते हैं। नाखूनों में आदमी और औरते के अलग-अलग गुण होते हैं, इसलिए वे सही व्यक्ति को प्रभावित करते हैं। इन क्लिपिंग का इस्तेमाल बिमार को दूर करने के लिए भी किया जाता है। उत्सव में बिमार आदमी के नाखून को या तो जलाते हैं या जमीन में गाड़ देते हैं। इस भाव के साथ कि उस आदमी की बिमारी दूर हो जाएगी। एक सामान्य संदर्भ में मुड़े हुए नाखून प्रकट करते हैं कि ये व्यक्ति लालची है और यदि नाखून बीच में से मुड़ा हो तो उस व्यक्ति की जल्दी मृत्यु हो जाती है।
ये भी विश्वास किया जाता है कि शुक्रवार और रविवार को नाखून नहीं काटने चाहिए। सोमवार और मंगलवार नाखून काटने के लिए अच्छे दिन होते हैं। बच्चे के नाखून एक साल तक नहीं काटने चाहिए नहीं तो वह चोर बन जाता है। नाखूनों पर सफेद धब्बे अनेक अर्थ प्रकट करते हैं। वे बताते हैं कि ये व्यक्ति स्वभाव से मित्र है या शत्रु। इसमें अलग-अलग अंगुलियों के नाखून के घावों का अलग अर्थ होता है, जो विभिन्न देशों में विभिन्न अर्थों में बताया जाता है।
सामान्य शकुन फर्नीचर:
यदि फर्नीचर में से कोई चीज बिना किसी कारण के गिर जाए तो मृत्यु का संकेत होता है। दिवार पर से किसी तस्वीर का गिरना या खिड़की के पर्दों से टकराना भी इसी बात का संकेत होता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि यदि फर्नीचर हिले या आवाज करे तो मौसम में परिवर्तन आता है।
सामान्य शकुन गिलास:
गिलास के टूटे हुए टुकड़े से किसी की तरफ नहीं देखना चाहिए, नहीं तो तुम्हारा उस आदमी से झगड़ा होगा।
सामान्य शकुन बाल:
आदमी के बालों से संबंधित अनेक धारणा प्रचलित हैं, लेकिन कुछ उदाहरण बहुत आकर्षक हैं। पहले आदमी के बालों को लेते हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि आदमी की छाती पर अधिक बाल होना उसके भाग्यशाली और शक्तिशाली होने का प्रतीक है। गुच्छेदार दाढ़ी भी अधिक पसन्द की जाती है। उन लोगों को भी बहुत सौभाग्यशाली माना जाता है, जिनकी बांहों पर और पीठ पर बहुत बाल होते हैं। ये लोग बहुत धनी पाए जाते हैं कि व्यक्ति लम्बी उम्र तक जिएगा। औरतों को केवल तब बाल कटवाने चाहिए जब चन्द्रमा बढ़ रहा हो, इससे उसका भाग्य अच्छा रहता है। यदि किसी स्त्री के माथे पर बाल हों तो वह विधवा बनकर दु:ख भोगेगी।
वैसे दुनिया में अधिक बालों का होना सौभाग्य का द्दोतक है, लेकिन भारत में माना जाता है कि जिस स्त्री के शरीर पर अधिक बाल हों वह अपने पति के लिए ईमानदार नहीं होगी। भारत में यह भी माना जाता है कि जिस व्यक्ति की छाती पर बिल्कुल बाल नहीं हों वह कमजोर चरित्र का होता है। सीधा बाल स्वभाव में धूर्तता का लक्षण माना जाता है लेकिन जिनके बालों में गुच्छे होते हैं, वे खुशमिजाज और शान्तिप्रिय होते हैं।
ऐसा भी विश्वास किया जाता है कि रात में बालों में कंघी करना अपशकुन है। ऐसा शायद इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि पुराने जमाने में यह विश्वास था कि बालों में कंघी व्यक्ति के विचारों को बिखेर देती है। यदि किसी को अपने कंघे पर कोई बाल पड़ा हुआ मिले तो मानना चाहिए कि कोई शुभ पत्र उसे प्राप्त होने वाला है।
सामान्य शकुन हेयरपिन:
ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है कि अगर कहीं कोई हेयरपिन पड़ा मिले तो कोई नया मित्र बनता है। यदि इसे कहीं लटका दिया जाए तो भाग्य के लिए अच्छा होता है। इसी तरह यदि कोई हेयरपिन खो जाए तो आपका कोई शत्रु बनता है। यदि यह खोने के बाद मिल जाए तो समझना चाहिए कि कोई आपके विषय में विचार कर रहा है।
सामान्य शकुन हाथ:
ऐसा लम्बे समय से विश्वास किया जाता है कि यदि दायीं हथेली में खुजली हो तो व्यक्ति को धन की प्राप्ति होती है या कोई अच्छी खबर मिलती है। यदि बायीं हथेली में खुजली हो तो नुकसान होने की संभावना रहती है। इस विश्वास को तोड़ने का तरीका यह है कि बाएं हाथ को लकड़ी पर रगड़ लो। ऐसा भी कहा जाता है कि यदि एक ही वाश बेंसिन में दो व्यक्ति इकट्ठे हाथ धोएं तो अशुभ होता है और दोनों में झगड़ा होने की आशंका रहती है, लेकिन अगर दोनों वेसिन में थूक लें तो यह अशुभ शुभ में बदल जाता है।
ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि भीगा हुआ हाथ व्यक्ति के निर्दयी होने का प्रमाण होता है, जबकि एक ठंडा हाथ हृदय की गरमाई का द्दोतक है। हाथ मिलाते हुए ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि बायां हाथ न मिलाया जाए। यदि तीन व्यक्ति एक साथ हाथ मिलाएं तो यह सौभाग्यजनक होता है और उन सबके लिए शुभ होता है।
सामान्य शकुन रुमाल:
आजकल रुमाल में गांठ इसलिए बांधी जाती है कि कोई बात याद रहे। लेकिन पुराने जमाने में इसे दुरात्माओं के विरुद्ध एक टोटका माना जाता था। ऐसा विश्वास था कि यदि कोई दुरात्मा गांठ लगाते समय आस-पास हो तो वह इसे देखकर इतनी उलझ जाए कि आपको नुकसान पहुंचाना उसे याद भी न रहे। जिस लड़के और लड़की की सगाई हो गई हो तो ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि वे आपस में रुमाल की अदला-बदली न करें, क्योंकि ऐसा अंधविश्वास है कि इससे झगड़ा होने की आशंका रहती है और कभी-कभी ये झगड़ा सगाई टूटने तक पहुंच सकता है।
सामान्य शकुन लोहा:
वैसे लोहे में ऐसी शक्ति मानी जाती है कि वे जादूगरनियों और दुरात्माओं को घर से भगा सकता है लेकिन पुराने लोहे को घर में रखना शुभ नहीं माना जाता। मानते हैं कि नए लोहे की चमक से दुरात्माएं डरती हैं और दूर भागती हैं। लेकिन जंग लगा पुराना लोहा उन पर कोई प्रभाव पैदा नहीं करता और वे घर में सुख से रह सकती हैं, इसलिए लोहे का कोई बेशकीमती सामान भी घर में साफ करके रखना चाहिए।
सामान्य शकुन पतीली:
युवा लड़कियों के एक अंधविश्वास के आधार पर यह चेतावनी दी जाती है कि वे उबलती हुई पतीली को लेकर इधर-उधर न जाएं और न उसे लेकर दिवार की तरफ मुंह करके खड़ी हों, नहीं तो उन्हें कभी कोई पति नहीं मिलेगा। इसके अलावा जो आग पतीली में से निकलती है वह दिवार के रंग को खराब कर सकती है।
सामान्य शकुन चाबियों का गुच्छा:
यदि किसी स्त्री के पास ऐसा गुच्छा हो जो बार-बार साफ करने पर भी जंग खा जाए तो यह एक अच्छा शकुन माना जाता है। यह विश्वास किया जाता है कि परिवार का या दोस्तों में से कोई व्यक्ति अपने वसीयतनामे में से आपके नाम कुछ धन छोड़कर जाना चाहता है। यूरोप के औद्दोगिक क्षेत्रों में बहुत सी धारणा प्रचलित है और कुछ दस्तावेजों को देखने पर पता चलता है कि इसमें काफी हद तक सच्चाई है। चाबियों के गुच्छे का एक उपयोग यह भी होता है कि उसे बच्चे के तकिए के नीचे रखा जाता है, जिससे वह बुरी आत्माओं के प्रभाव से बचा रहता है।
