Normal Shakun 2/सामान्य शकुन Thunder: It is considered that when there is thunder, one should immediately climb on the bed and cover his head with wrapper. It is also believed that when there is storm, take the bed just in the centre of the room and sing a love song, it will protect you even if lightning falls on the building. The roar of thunder is the symbol of death and it may happen any day of the year. If the thunder roars on the first Sunday of the year, it is believed that someone from the Royal family or any important person may die.
Normal Shakun 2: Storm and Tornado:
It was believed that when god gets angry Tornado starts and in later period it was considered that demons, boggard, wizards etc, arrange for it. In many coastal countries it is believed that if any mail person goes for trade by ship, and during that time if the lady in the house comb her hair or clip her nails, it may cause the danger of life of the person in voyage. In some countries it is considered that hair and nails should be trimmed in the night, and the pieces must be burnt immediately because the wizards may steal them and arrange for the storm etc.
It is also believed that while burying a dead body, if storm starts, the dead body will have some wicked activities. Thunderstorm in any place signifies the death of an important person. During storm if some food items are thrown out from the windows, it will stop storms. During throwing the food items one has to say to stop the storm loudly. If storm starts while going for a work, it is a bad omen.
Normal Shakun 2: Aeroplane:
Modern pilots are afraid of two words one is crash and second one is prang. Because it is considered that one crash word causes another two crashes. Many pilots believe that while saying touch wood that should be the wood of a live tree not a chair or table. Hence touching a chair or table is not a provident prognostic. When they land the air craft, they empty their pockets. This is a presage.
Normal Shakun 2: Apron:
There are many concepts about the aprons, which is worn by the women from morning to evening. In England people when wear an apron and thereafter any unfavourable incident happens, they just alter it and wear it. If suddenly the apron falls down, it is a bad omen. But in some parts of the country, it is considered as the sign to conceive.
In other part of Europe if an apron slips down for the reason or other, it is considered that her beloved is thinking about her. In some countries a presage is that if a young boy dries his hand on the apron of a young girl, it means that they will fall in love. After the engagement, the girls are advised not to allow her would be husband to rub his hand in her apron, this may end in fighting. The perspiration smell causes an attraction between them.
Normal Shakun 2: Broom:
Regarding the brooms it is considered that women wizards use it. It is also proved that the women wizards are not using toxic materials for sorcery. In some countries, a concept is this that purchasing a new broom is inauspicious and it destroys the relations. In some European countries, it is believed that if any unmarried girl keeps her feet on the broom while going out, she gets pregnant before her marriage. While shifting to a new house old brooms are not to be taken, it is inauspicious. If any child starts sweeping with the broom suddenly, it indicates that an uncalled for guest is suppose to come to your house. In Africa to beat with broom is too inauspicious and the remedy is to beat the person with the same broom 7 times. If any woman does it, it is believed that she may loss her husband.
Normal Shakun 2: Pail:
If a bucket is found filled with liquid while going out of the house in the morning, it is auspicious. But if the bucket is empty, it is ominous.
Normal Shakun 2: Button:
If by chance you fix a button in your coat or shirt in a wrong location, it is ominous. It can be prevented by removing the coat or shirt, place the button in a right place and then wear. If on the way you find a button, it shows that you are going to have a new friend.
Normal Shakun 2: Candle:
All over the world there is a concept of candles. The ancient concept is that, it tells the future. For example if the candle is not burning, it means that there is a charm of storm. If the flame vibrates, it shows that the climate will be worst. The regular vibration of the flames indicates the death of the person near to it. It is believed that during the marriage, birth and death candles must be lit so that evil souls remain away from him. If the flame is shining too much, it means that the person holding it will get a letter. But in present era it is believed that a strange person will come.
In France and Germany it is believed that the virgin girls are so virtuous that they can light an extinguished candle with a blow of air by their mouth. The person burn the candle in fire, he put hindrances on being rich. If by chance a candle is extinguished by a man’s kick unknowingly, it shows that the person will get marry soon. If on the Christmas candles are lit on the window aisle, it is providential.
Normal Shakun 2: Cigarette:
It is ominous if three cigarettes are lit by a single match stick. It is probably emerged during war time. Because if only one cigarette is lit, enemy cannot see him and when two are lit, enemy can doubt but when three are lit, they are confirmed. The person who knows it, will never light three cigarettes.

It is believed in the villages that if suddenly the watch stops, someone may die. Therefore in villages the clocks are told as grandfather’s clock. It is also believed that if the clock stops while winding the spring, a member of the family dies instantly. It is also said that this clock should be winded after the completion of the funeral. If any clock on public place suddenly stops, there is a chance of fire in some places or during the marriage ceremony a person may die.
Normal Shakun 2: Coal:
Since coal signifies fire, it is considered providential. Traditionally some people keep a piece of coal in their pockets so that misfortune should be away from him. On the first day of the year if first step is put on the coal piece, it is too auspicious. On the Christmas day people give coal as presents on receipt of which the receiver burn the coal and make wishes. These wishes are always fulfilled. It is also considered that the coal becomes providential if it is thrown across the left shoulder backwards and thereafter never looks backward till comes back to home. The coastal people wash the coal in the sea beach and give them to the sailors. It is said that doing so, the ship will never sink nor any shipwreck may happen.
Normal Shakun 2 Coins:
This is said that the coins have special powers. Particularly those which are offered to temples. If two or three such coins are given to a person who is suffering from rheumatism and massage the place of pain with those coins, it gives relief instantly.

सामान्य शकुन बिजली का गरजना: ऐसा प्रस्तावित किया जाता है कि जब बिजली कड़के तो फौरन बिस्तर पर चढ़ जाना चाहिए और चादर से सिर को ढक लेना चाहिए। यह भी माना जाता है कि तूफान के समय फौरन अपने बिस्तरे को कमरे के बीचों-बीच कर लिया जाए और कोई सुखद गीत गाया जाए तो मकान पर यदि बिजली गिरेगी भी तो कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचेगा।
बिजली का कड़कना मृत्यु का संकेत होता है और यह उस साल के किसी भी दिन हो सकती है। यदि नए साल के पहले ही रविवार को बिजली कड़कती है, तो माना जाता है कि शाही परिवार में से कोई व्यक्ति मरेगा या उस समाज का कोई महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति।
सामान्य शकुन आंधी चक्रवात:
ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है कि जब देवता क्रोधित होते हैं तो आंधी या चक्रवात आते हैं, पर बाद में ऐसा भी प्रचारित हुआ कि जादूगर, दैत्य, पिशाच इत्यादि आंधियों को आयोजित करते हैं। समुद्र के किनारे के अनेक देशों में यह माना जाता है कि जब घर के मर्द व्यापार के लिए समुद्र यात्रा पर गए हों तो घर की महिलाएं यदि बालों में कंघा करती हैं या अपने नाखून काटती हैं, तो उन आदमियों को जीवन का खतरा होता है। कुछ देशों में ऐसा भी माना जाता है, कि बाल या नाखून केवल रात में काटे जाने चाहिए और उनके टुकड़ों को तभी जला दिया जाना चाहिए, नहीं तो जादूगरनियां उन्हें चुराकर ले जायेंगी और आंधी-तूफान का आयोजन करेंगी।
ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि यदि कोई ताबूत कब्र में उतारा जा रहा हो और तूफान आ जाए तो निश्चित रूप से मृत व्यक्ति ने बहुत दुष्टतापूर्ण जीवन बिताया होगा। बिजली की कड़क के साथ आई हुई आंधी उस क्षेत्र के किसी महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति की मृत्यु का संकेत होती है। आंधी के समय अगर खिड़की खोलकर कुछ खाने का समान बाहर फेंका जाये तो माना जाता है कि ऐसा करने से आंधी रुक जाती है। खाने का सामान फेंकते समय ऐसा बोला जाता है कि ये तुम्हारे लिए है थम जाओ। लेकिन अगर किसी कार्य हेतु या शुभ कार्य हेतु प्रस्थान के समय यदि आंधी उठ जाए तो ये एक अशुभ शकुन माना जाता है।
सामान्य शकुन हवाई जहाज:
आधुनिक हवाई जहाजों के चालक दो शब्द बोलने से बहुत डरते हैं। उड़ान भरने से पहले वे ‘क्रेश’ (विध्वंस) या प्रेंग शब्द बोलना पसंद नहीं करते। क्योंकि माना जाता है कि एक क्रेश होगा तो साथ-साथ दो क्रेश और होंगे। बहुत से चालक और उनके सहयोगी कुछ टोने-टोटके मानते हैं — जैसे पूरे संसार में हवाई जहाज के चालक फूल।
वायुसेना का चालक दल ये मानता है कि जिस लकड़ी को छूकर सौभाग्य की इच्छा की जाए, वह जीवित पेड़ की लकड़ी होनी चाहिए। मेज की या कुर्सी की लकड़ी नहीं, क्योंकि ये मृत होती हैं। इसलिए इनको छूकर कसम खाना शकुन नहीं माना जा सकता है। वायुयान के चालक जब जहाज से जमीन पर उतरते हैं, तो अपनी जेबों का सामान जमीन पर खाली कर देते हैं, इसे एक प्रकार की बलि माना जाता है।
सामान्य शकुन एप्रन:
एप्रन से अनेक धारणा जुड़ीं हुई हैं, क्योंकि पहले लगभग सभी औरतें सुबह से शाम तक इसे पहनती थीं। इंग्लैंड में अनजाने ही महिलाएं इसे धारण कर लेती हैं और यदि इसे पहनने के बाद कोई छोटी-मोटी घटना घटे तो उसका इलाज यह मानती हैं कि इसे उलट दिया जाए। एप्रन अचानक यदि गिर जाए तो बुरा शकुन जाना जाता है लेकिन कुछ स्थानों पर एप्रन का गिरना शीघ्र ही बच्चे की प्राप्ति का संकेत होता है। यूरोप में अगर एप्रन लड़कियों के शरीर पर से लुढ़क जाए तो माना जाता है कि उनका प्रेमी उस समय उनके विषय में सोच रहा है।
कुछ देशों मे यदि कोई पुरुष किसी लड़की के एप्रन से हाथ पोंछ ले तो माना जाता है कि उस लड़की से उसे गहरा प्रेम हो जाएगा। यदि किसी लड़की की सगाई हो चुकी हो तो उसे सलाह दी जाती है कि वह अपने होने वाले पति को एप्रन से हाथ न पोंछने दे, ऐसा करने से दोनों में झगड़ा हो सकता इसका तर्क यह है कि स्त्री और पुरुष के एप्रन में से उनके पसीने की गंध आती है और यही उनके आपसी आकर्षण को निर्धारित करती है। स्वाभाविक तौर पर स्त्री के एप्रन में से उसके पसीने की गंध आती है।
सामान्य शकुन झाड़ू:
झाड़ू के विषय में सबसे अधिक धारणा प्रचलित यह है, कि जादुगरनियां इसका प्रयोग करती हैं, लेकिन यह विश्वास गलत सिद्ध हो गया है क्योंकि जादूगरनियां नशीले पदार्थों से जादू-टोना करती हैं। रोजाना के इस्तेमाल में लोग बहुत से देशों में ऐसा मानते हैं कि नई झाड़ू खरीदना अशुभ माना जाता है और यह माना जाता है कि इससे मित्रता टूट जाएंगी। यूरोप के देशों में ऐसा भी विश्वास किया जाता है कि यदि कोई लड़की झाड़ू के ऊपर पैर रखकर निकल जाए तो वह शादी से पहले ही गर्भवती हो सकती है। नए घर में पुरानी झाड़ू लेकर नहीं जाना चाहिए। इससे पुराने दुर्भाग्य नए घर में प्रवेश कर जाएगा।
ऐसा भी माना जाता है। यदि कोई बच्चा झाडू उठा ले और बिना सोचे समझे लगाना शुरू कर दे तो मानना चाहिए कि अंवाछित मेहमान आने वाले हैं। अफ्रीका में किसी को झाड़ू से मारना अपशकुन माना जाता है और इसका निदान यह है कि झाड़ू छीनकर मारने वाले को सात बार झाड़ू मारे। यदि किसी औरत के साथ ऐसा हो तो यह आशंका की जा सकती है कि वह अपने पति को खो देगी और महिलाओं के लिए इसका कोई निदान भी नहीं है।
सामान्य शकुन बाल्टी:
सुबह घर से निकलते हुए यदि तरल पदार्थ से भरी हुई बाल्टी रास्ते में मिले तो शुभ होता है, पर यदि बाल्टी खाली हो तो दिन खराब बीतता है।
सामान्य शकुन बटन:
यदि अनजाने में कमीज कोट या किसी और कपड़े के बटन आप गलत लगा लें तो यह अपशकुन का द्दोतक है। इसका निदान यही है कि आप कपड़ा उतार दें और दोबारा पहनें सही बटन लगाकर। रास्ते चलते हुए यदि कोई बटन आपको मिलता है तो इसका अर्थ यह है कि कोई नया दोस्त बनने वाला है।
सामान्य शकुन मोमबत्ती:
सारी दुनिया में मोमबत्तियों से संबंधित बहुत धारणा हैं। इनमें सबसे प्राचीन यह है कि मोमबत्ती भविष्य बताती है। जैसे यदि मोमबत्ती जल न रही हो, तो समझो कि तूफान आने वाला है। यदि मोमबत्ती की लौ कांपती हो तो मानना चाहिए कि आने वाले समय में मौसम खराब होगा। मोमबत्ती की लौ का फड़फड़ाना पास बैठे आदमी की मृत्यु का संकेत होता है। ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है कि किसी के जन्म, विवाह और मृत्यु के समय मोमबत्ती अवश्य जलानी चाहिए। जिससे कि दुरात्माएं दूर रह सकें। यदि मोमबत्ती बहुत चमकदार होकर जल रही हो तो माना जाता है कि सामने बैठे व्यक्ति को कोई पत्र प्राप्त होना होगा। लेकिन इन दिनों इसका अर्थ कुछ अजनबियों के आने का संकेत माना जाता है।
फ्रांस और जर्मनी में विश्वास किया जाता है कि केवल अविवाहित लड़कियां ही इतनी पवित्र होती हैं कि बुझती हुई मोमबत्ती को फूंक मारकर दोबारा से जला सकती हैं। मोमबत्ती को आग से जलाना व्यक्ति को धनी होने से रोकता है। यदि अचानक ठोकर लगने से मोमबत्ती बुझ जाए तो माना जाता है कि ये उस व्यक्ति के विवाह का संकेत है। यदि क्रिसमस के दिन खिड़कियों पर मोमबत्तियां जलाई जाएं तो वह शुभ होता है।
सामान्य शकुन सिगरेट:
माचिस की एक तिल्ली से तीन सिगरेट जलाना अशुभ माना जाता है। यह शायद युद्ध के समय पैदा हुआ अंधविश्वास है। क्योंकि एक तिल्ली जलाने पर दुश्मन की नजर उस सिपाही पर नहीं पड़ेगी, लेकिन दो सिगरेट उसी तिल्ली से जलाने पर शत्रु को वहां उनके होने का संदेह हो जाएगा कि यहां शत्रु के सिपाही हैं। जो लोग अपने जीवन का मूल्य समझते हैं, वह ऐसी गलती नहीं करते।
सामान्य शकुन घड़ी:
ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में आज भी ऐसा माना जाता है कि यदि घड़ी अचानक रुक जाए तो किसी न किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु होती है। इसलिए गांव में घड़ी को दादा की घड़ी कहकर मजाक उड़ाया जाता है। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि यदि घड़ी चाबी देते-देते रुक जाए तो उसी समय घर के उस सदस्य की मृत्यु हो जाती है, जो बिमार होता है। घड़ियों को मृत व्यक्ति की दाह क्रिया से पहले दोबारा चालू नहीं करना चाहिए। यह भी माना जाता है कि यदि शहर की घड़ी अचानक बंद हो जाए तो आसपास कहीं आग लगती है या विवाह के उत्सव के समय किसी की मृत्यु होती है।
सामान्य शकुन कोयला:
कोयला क्योंकि अग्नि का प्रतीक होता है, इसलिए शुभ माना जाता है। पुश्त दर पुश्त लोग इसके छोटे-छोटे टुकड़े जेब में डाले रहते हैं, जिससे दुर्भाग्य दूर रहे। नववर्ष के पहले दिन इस पर पहला कदम रखकर चलना शुभ होता है। कभी-कभी कोयले के टुकड़े को क्रिसमस के दिन भेंट के तौर पर दिया जाता है, जिससे लेने वाला आग जलाता है और कोई इच्छा करता है। माना जाता है कि ये इच्छा पूरी होती है। ऐसी भी मान्यता है कि मिला हुआ कोयला तभी भाग्यशाली होता है जब आप उसे बाएं कंधे की तरफ से पीछे फेंक दें और स्वयं पीछे न देखें। समुद्र किनारे के क्षेत्रों में इस प्रकार मिला कोयला समुद्र के पानी में धोया जाता है और किसी नाविक को दे दिया जाता है। इसे जेब में रखने से नाविक डूबने से बच जाता है।
सामान्य शकुन सिक्का:
ऐसा माना जाता है कि सिक्कों में विशिष्ट शक्तियां होती हैं। खासतौर से ऐसे सिक्के जो मंदिरों में पूजा के तौर पर दिए जाते हैं। इन सिक्कों में से दो या तीन को यदि तत्काल उस व्यक्ति को दिया जाए जो गठिया से पीड़ित है और वह व्यक्ति जिस जगह दर्द हो वहां की मालिश इन सिक्कों से कर ले तो तत्काल असर होता है।
