Manglik Dosha/(मांगलिक दोष): While matching for the marriage, in Hindu community, many points through horoscope are matched from both sides. It is considered that out of 32 points at least 30 points are to be matched. But it is also considered whether bride or groom is having Manglik Dosha In horoscope. It is said that there should not be any problem in married life afterwards. It will only possible when matching is perfect. Therefore while marrying the son or daughter all these things are to be considered.
We select such a person as spouse who can leave stress less as far as married life is concerned.
When marriage is to be fixed, at first horoscope is matched. Since astrology has an old concern with constellation. We observe carefully that girl or boy should not be a Manglik Dosha.
In general the Manglik Dosha effect falls on only the girl or boy. But some so called astrologers have spread this rumour in such a way that people became horrified. But it cannot be ignored that it happens usually that the marriage does not go smooth if one is Manglik Dosha. Most of the times, it is found that they are separated.

Manglik Dosha Definition:
If in any horoscope Mars is found to be sitting on 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th, place it is said to be Manglik Dosha. Besides this the condition of Moon on Mars and position of Venus on the Mars are to be observed so that evaluation of the effects could be made.
Manglik Dosha Symptoms:
Mars is an aggressive planet therefore the person will be hot minded.
This people is very arrogant by nature therefore if this aggression is not properly used, it will be harmful.
It causes the late marriage.
If married without making remedies, spouses will be fighting together on petty issues.
If bride and groom both are Mmanglik Dosha, it will be a good matching.
It is said that the person who did wrong with the partner in previous life, they have such Manglik Dosha.
Manglik Dosha Analysis:
For the marriageable boys and girls the matching is made by octave system thereafter Manglik Dosha is analyzed. Following hymn is considered the base of this Dosha.

It means that if in the horoscope of the girl Mars is on 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th position then it is harmful to the husband and if the same position is in the horoscope of the boy, it is harmful to the girl. Manglik Dosha analysis is usually done by Mars’s position on Moon and Venus also.
Manglik Dosha Avoidance:
If the girl affected with Manglik Dosha is married to a boy affected by Manglik Dosha, then there is no effect of Manglik Dosha instead they remain happy life long.

If in the horoscope of the girl the position of Mars is the same of the boy wherein Saturn, Mars, Sun, Dragon Head and any other malefic planet is sitting then Manglik Dosha is avoided and it is vice versa.

Means if one has Manglik Dosha and the other has malefic planets in the same position, then the marriage is successful.

Means when Pieces is in the seventh place of Mars and Aquarius is in the 8th position of Mars then there will be no Manglik Dosha.

If in the second position there is an accordance of Moon and Venus or on the focus of Jupiter and central position is of Rahu or in the centre there is an accordance of Rahu and Mars then there is no effect of Manglik Dosha.

If strong Jupiter is in Venus Lagna then mean or enemy Mars is in the end, there is no Manglik Dosha.

In centre or in the triangle if there is providential planet and in the 3rd, 6th, 11th position is a malefic planet and Saptamesh planet is in 7th position then there is no Manglik Dosha.

If the Mars is in 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 11th and 12th position then the married life becomes problematic. But if Mars is in his house and on Capricorn, there will be no Manglik Dosha.

विघटयति तद ग्रहेशो न विघटयति तुंगमित्रगेहेवा।।

If in the horoscopes of boy and girl corresponding zodiacs are friendly and at least 27 points are matched, there is no Manglik Dosha.
राशिमैत्रं यदा याति गणैक्यं वा यदा भवेत्।

Therefore if in the bride and grooms horoscope there is Mmanglik Dosha, its avoidance should be done very carefully. Only by considering 1st, 4th, 7th and 8th position of Mangal it should not be analyzed. If in the position of Mars other arrogant planets sit on the 1st,2nd, 7th and 12th position it will be a problem in married life.

The effect of Manglik Dosha falls on husband and wife but if any horoscope Mars is helpful with the association of other planets, or the higher planet have the same zodiac position, then Manglik Dosha is not harmful but is beneficial. The Mars on zodiac Capricorn, Aries, Scorpio, Leo, Sagittarius and Pieces is said to be providential. In the Cancer and Leo Lagna if Mars is in a triangular form then it is auspicious.

While matching the horoscope, one should not only give stress on Manglik Dosha matter but also he has to check the other things as well. The other elements are mentioned hereunder.
When the position of planet is in centre, it shows the complete result but when the position of the planet is on the junction, it shows zero result. Hence while matching the horoscope the planets position in the horoscope of both should be clear. Then only the actual condition of the Manglik Dosha effect can be found. If both the horoscope has the Mars on conjunction, then there will be no Manglik Dosha.
If Saptamesh is in the seventh position and in providential position or the positions of Mars or Jupiter in seventh position, or the sight of Venus or Saptamesh planet is on the position, the Manglik Dosha effect will be diminished.
If the Saptamesh planet is in high position and being in the friendly position and in the triangular position, the Manglik Dosha will be ineffective.
Opposite to it if the Saptamesh is in Trik, the malefic planet have evil sights, mean zodiacs are not in a good position, the marriage life will not be completely happy.
Besides this, the head of the Lagna, the head of the 2nd position, the head of the 5th position, the head of the 8th position and the position of Moon, Octave, Jupiter and Mars etc. must be analyzed.
If in the octave the zodiac position of both is friendly, and 27 points are matching, then Manglik Dosha will not be there.
If Planet Mars is under the sight of Jupiter in the horoscope then there will be no Manglik Dosha.

मांगलिक दोष परिहार/Manglik Dosha
माता-पिता या रिश्तेदार अपने पुत्र या सगे-संबंधी का विवाह कराते है, तो सबसे पहले संस्कारों और गुणों को देखते है। माना जाता है, कि लड़का हो या लड़की उनके 32 गुणों में से 30 गुण तो मिलने ही चाहिए। साथ ही लड़का या लड़की मांगलिक तो नहीं है। जिससे सुखी वैवाहिक जीवन जीने में कोई समस्या न हो। यह जीवन तभी मिलता है, जब आपका जीवन साथी सही हो। इसमें कोई कमी न हो। इसके लिए हम बड़ा ही सोच-समझकर विवाह करते है। विवाह के लिए हम ऐसी लड़की को चुनते है जो हमारें परिवार को संभाल सके सभी को प्यार कर सकें।

मांगलिक दोष/Manglik Dosha परिभाषा:
अगर किसी लड़के या फिर लडकी की कुंडली में मंगल लग्न, बारहवें, द्वितीय, चतुर्थ, सप्तम और अष्टम भाव में हो तो ऐसी जन्म कुण्डली में मंगली दोष माना जाता है। इसके अलावा चन्द्रमा से मंगली तथा शुक्र से मंगली की स्तथि भी देखनी चाहिए, जिससे कुण्डली में मंगली प्रभाव का पूर्ण मूल्यांकन हो सके।
मांगलिक दोष/Manglik Dosha के लक्षण:
मंगल को उग्रता वाला ग्रह माना जाता है, इसलिए मांगलिक इस दोष वाले लोगों का स्वभाव गर्म माना जाता है।
मांगलिक लोगों में बहुत गर्म और उग्र ऊर्जा होती है जिसका यदि सही इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाए तो यह कुछ ना कुछ गलत कर सकते है।
मांगलिक दोष/Manglik Dosha के कारण शादी में देरी होती है।
मंगल दोष/Manglik Dosha के कारण शादी में कलह और तनाव रहता है।
दो मांगलिक लोगों का आपस में विवाह करने से इसका बुरा प्रभाव दूर होता है।
ऐसा माना जाता है कि जिन्होंने पिछले जन्म में अपने पार्टनर के साथ बुरा किया उनमें यह दोष पाया जाता है।
ज्योतिषीय मांगलिक दोष गणना:
विवाह योग्य लडके-लडकी की जन्मकुंडली में वर्ण, वैश्य, तारा, ग्रहमैत्री, नाडी आदि अष्टकूट सम्बन्धी गुण मिलान के पश्चात् कुंडली में मंगल एवं मांगलिक दोष पर विशेष रूप से विचार किया जाता है। मांगलिक दोष का आधार निम्न श्लोक माना जाता है।
लग्ने व्यये च पाताले जामित्रे चाष्टमे कुजे।
कन्या भर्तुविनाशाय भर्ता कन्या विनाशक: ।
– मु. संग्रहदर्पण
अर्थात जिस कन्या की कुंडली में 1, 4, 7, 8 या 12वें स्थान में मंगल हो तो वह कन्या वर (पति) के लिए हानिकारक तथा इसी तरह लडके की कुंडली में इन्हीं स्थानों में मंगल हो तो वह कन्या के लिए हानिकारक होता है। मंगली का विचार लग्न, चन्द्र और कभी-कभी शुक्र की राशि से भी किया जाता है।
मांगलिक दोष/Manglik Doshaपरिहार:
मंगल दोष वाली कन्या का विवाह मांगलिक दोष वाले वर के साथ करने से मंगल का अनिष्ट दोष नहीं होता तथा वर-वधू के मध्य दाम्पत्य सुख बढ़ता है-
कुज दोष वती देया कुजदोषवते किल।
नास्ति दोषो न चानिष्टं दम्पत्यो: सुखवर्धनम् ।।
यदि लडकी की कुंडली में जिस स्थान पर मंगल स्थित(मांगलिक कारक) हो, और लडके की कुंडली में उसी स्थान पर शनि, मंगल, सूर्य, राहु आदि कोई पाप ग्रह स्थित हो, तो भौमदोष (मंगल दोष) भंग हो जाता है। इसी प्रकार लडके की कुंडली में भौमदोष होने पर कन्या की कुंडली में उसी भाव में कोई पाप ग्रह होने से भी भौमदोष नहीं रहता –
शनि भौमोऽथवा कश्चित् पापो वा ताद्रशो भवेत्।
तेष्वेव भवनेष्वेव भौमदोष विनाश कृत।।
अन्येऽपिभौमेन सद्र्शो भौम: पापो व ताद्रशो भवेत्।
विवाह: शुभद: प्रोक्तश्चिरायु: पुत्रपौत्रद: ।।
– फलित संग्रह
अर्थात एक की कुंडली में मंगल दोष हो तो दूसरे की कुंडली में भी उन्हीं स्थानों में शनि आदि पाप ग्रह होने से मांगलिक दोष समाप्त हो जाता है तथा वैवाहिक जीवन के लिए शुभ होता है।
यामित्रे च सदा सौरि लग्ने वा हिषुके तथा।
अष्टमे द्वादशो चैव भौमदोषो न विद्यते।।
अर्थात मेष राशि का मंगल लग्न में, वृश्चिक राशि का चौथे भाव में, मकर का सातवें, कर्क राशि का आठवें, एवं धनु राशि का मंगल 12वें हो तो मंगल दोष नहीं होता।
अजे लग्ने व्यये चापे पाताले वृश्चिके कुजे।
धूने म्रगे कर्किचाष्टौ भौमदोषो न विद्यते।।

अर्थात मीन का मंगल 7वें भाव तथा कुम्भ राशि का मंगल अष्टम में हो तो भौम दोष नहीं होता।

यदि द्वितीय भाव में चन्द्र शुक्र का योग हो, या मंगल गुरु द्वारा दृष्ट हो, केंद्र भावस्थ राहु हो अथवा केंद्र में राहु मंगल का योग हो तो मंगल दोष नहीं रहता –
न मंगली चन्द्र भृगु द्वितीये, न मंगली पश्यति यस्य जीवा।
न मंगली केंद्रगते च राहु:, न मंगली मंगल-राहु योगे।।
– मुहूर्त दीपक
बलवान गुरु व शुक्र लग्न में हो, तो वक्री, नीचस्थ, अस्तंगत अथवा शत्रुक्षेत्री मंगल उपरोक्त ग्रह समाप्त में ही हो तो मंगल दोष नहीं होता –
सबले गुरौ भृगौ वा लग्ने धूनेऽथवाभौमे।
वक्रे नीचारि ग्रह्स्थे वाऽस्तेऽपि न कुज दोष:।।
– फलित संग्रह
केंद्र व त्रिकोण में यदि शुभ ग्रह हों, तथा 3, 6, 11वें भावों में पाप ग्रह हों तथा सप्तमेश ग्रह सप्तम में ही हो तो मंगल दोष नहीं होता –
केंद्र कोणे शुभादये च त्रिषडायेऽप्यसद्ग्रहा:।

1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 11 और 12वें भावों में स्थित मंगल वर वधू के वैवाहिक जीवन में विघटन उत्पन्न करता है परन्तु यदि मंगल अपने घर (1, 8) का हो, उच्चस्थ (मकर) का किंवा मित्र क्षेत्री मंगल दोष कारक नहीं होता –
तनु धन सुख मदनायुर्लाभ व्ययग: कुजस्तु दाम्पत्यम।
विघटयति तद ग्रहेशो न विघटयति तुंगमित्रगेहेवा।।
– मु. चिन्तामणि
यदि वर कन्या की कुंडलियों में परस्पर राशि मैत्री हो, गुण अच्छे हो, 27 गुण या अधिक मिलान होता हो तो भी मांगलिक दोष अवश्य देखना चाहिए।
राशिमैत्रं यदा याति गणैक्यं वा यदा भवेत्।
अथवा गुण बाहुल्ये भौम दोषो न विद्यते।।
– मुहूर्त दीपक
अत: वर–कन्या की कुंडली में मांगलिक दोष और उसके परिहार का निर्णय अत्यंत सावधानीपूर्वक करना चाहिए। केवल 1, 4, 7, 8 आदि भावों में मंगल को देखकर दाम्पत्य जीवन के सुख दुःख का निर्णय कर देना उपयुक्त नहीं। मांगलिक वाले स्थानों (भावों) में मंगल के अतिरिक्त कोई अन्य क्रूर ग्रह भी 1, 2, 7 एवं 12वें स्थानों में हो तो वह भी परिवारिक एवं वैवाहिक जीवन के लिए अनिष्टकारी होता है। यथा:
लग्ने क्रूरा व्यये क्रूरा धने क्रूरा: कुजस्तथा।
सप्तमे भवने क्रूरा: परिवार क्षयंकरा: ।।

कुंडलियों में मांगलिक दोष का अशुभ एवं अनिष्ट प्रभाव वर-कन्या के वैवाहिक जीवन पर पड़ता है, परन्तु यदि किसी कुंडली में मंगल अन्य ग्रहों के सहचर्य से योगकारक हो, उच्चस्थ या स्वराशिगत हो अथवा गुरु आदि शुभ ग्रह की दृष्टि से प्रभावित हो तो मंगल अशुभ की अपेक्षा शुभ प्रभाव कारक होगा। जैसे – मकर, मेष, वृश्चिक, सिंह, धनु और मीन राशि के मंगल को शुभ माना जाता है तथा कर्क एवं सिंह लग्नो में मंगल केंद्र त्रिकोणपति होने से मंगल अशुभ न होकर योगकारक माना जायेगा-
सर्वे त्रिकोणनेतारो ग्रहा शुभफलप्रदा: ।
इसी भांति स्वोच्चस्थित: शुभफलं प्रकरोति पूर्णम।
नीचर्क्षगस्तु विपलं रिपु मन्दिरेऽल्पम।।
भाव सर्वे शुभपतियुता वीक्षित: वा शुभेशै
तत्तदभावा: सकल फलदा: पापादृकयोगहीना: ।।

वर-कन्या की कुंडलियों का मिलान करते समय उनके सुखी एवं सम्पन्न दाम्पत्य जीवन के लिए केवल मंगल या मांगलिक पर ही अत्यधिक बल न देते हुए मेलापक सम्बन्धी अन्य तत्वों का भी सर्वांग रूप से विवेचन करना चाहिए। जिनमें कुछ मुख्य तत्व निम्नलिखित है –
जो ग्रह भाव मध्य होते है। वह भाव सम्बन्धी पूर्ण फल प्रकट करते है, जो ग्रह भाव संधि में होते है, वह शून्य फल दिखाते है। तदनुसार वर कन्या की कुंडलियों का मिलान करते समय दोनों की कुंडलियों के ग्रह स्पष्ट, भाव स्पष्ट एवं चलित भाव कुंडली बनी होनी चाहिए। तभी मंगल अथवा मांगलिक दोष की वास्तविक स्थिति का पता चल पाएगा। यदि दोनों की कुंडलियों में मंगल सन्धिगत होगा, तो मांगलिक दोष भंग माना जाएगा।
सप्तम भाव में सप्तमेश या शुभ एवं योगकारक ग्रहों की स्थिति अथवा मंगल या सप्तम भाव पर गुरु, शुक्र की दृष्टि अथवा सप्तमेश ग्रह की स्वग्रही दृष्टि होने से मांगलिक दोष क्षीण होगा।
सप्तमेश ग्रह उच्चस्थ या स्व – मित्रादि राशिगत होकर केंद्र त्रिकोणादि भावों में स्थित हो तो विवाह में मंगल का दोष निष्प्रभावी होगा।
इसके विपरीत सप्तमेश त्रिक में हो, पापग्रह युक्त पाप दृष्ट, नीच राशिगत अथवा अस्तंगत हो तो विवाह का पूर्ण सुख नहीं होता।
इसके अतिरिक्त लग्नेश, कुटुम्बेश (द्वितियेश), पंचमेश, अष्टमेश, सप्तमेश एवं चन्द्र, शुक्र, गुरु, मंगलादि ग्रहों के बलाबल का विचार करना भी नितांत आवश्यक है।
