Upon deep reflection, it seems that ultimately the entire world is suffering.
Even situations that appear to be pleasant ultimately lead to suffering; therefore, the immediate and eternal cessation of suffering and the momentary attainment of happiness are regarded as the ultimate endeavors of living beings. The ascetic sages of the land of India, who have attained heaven and liberation, have discovered the means to this highest endeavor through their divine powers, and by the grace of God, they have gained access to the paths of Agama and Nigama.
