Kabir Bijak Mool Book
Kabir Bijak Mool Book (कबीर बीजक मूल पुस्तक): The ‘Bijak’ is the foundational text of Kabir’s teachings among the Kabir Panthis and general readers. It is a saying that one of Kabir’s devotees, Bhagwan Das, secretly took away a copy of the ‘Bijak’. Because of this act of theft, Bhagwan Das became derisively known as ‘Bhaggu’. The term ‘Bijak’ means the association with tantric worship.
In Buddhist tantra, the sutras through which people attain the mysterious essence are ‘Beej Sutra’ or ‘Bijakshar’. This ‘Bijakshar’ is the source of mantras. In this way, the concept of the word essence is also what people understand as Bijakshar. Over time, sources of the saintly tradition emerge from the Vajrayana tradition of Buddhism. In this saintly tradition, the word holds great significance.
In the poetry of the saintly tradition, ‘Word’ and ‘Sakhi’ (a type of verse) have specific meanings and importance. The text ‘Bijak’ discusses the ‘Bijak’ in the ‘Ramaini’. The printing of ‘Bijak’ was done for the first time in Kabir’s verses. The reason for this is that Kabir Panthis considers ‘Bijak’ to be the most authentic and revered text.
