He never faces trauma in his life and achieve everything like the wealth of Lord Indra, knowledge like Lord Brahma and completeness of lord Vishnu. But the disciple must be highborn, polite, keeping no wicked attitude in him. A noble soul, a person who keeps a high respect for the preceptor. He should refrain from greed, temptation, lust and concupiscence. His eyes should be virtuous and even by mistake he will not lift anything from preceptors house stealthily. – Guru Aur Shishya Book.
In true sense disciple is the person, who always render services to the preceptor. He should be always ready to tender services to the Guru whenever the Guru needs. The task given by the Guru may be too hard but the disciple must follow it. He should be devoted to the Guru in all respect. He should not keep anything for him but give everything to the preceptor. Then only he can be called a right disciple and can achieve completeness.
