उदाहरणार्थ दिन में चौबीस घण्टे होते है, जिसमें से बारह घण्टे तो हम सोने में व्यतीत कर देते है और शेष बारह घण्टे व्यर्थ की बातचीत, घर-ग्रहस्थों के छोटे-मोटे कार्यो में उलझ कर गंवा देते है, और यों ही अधूरा, व्यर्थ का जीवन जीकर इस मानव जीवन को समाप्त कर डालते है। क्या ऐसे जीवन को श्रेष्ठ कहा जा सकता है? क्या तुम्हें वास्तविक जीवन का अर्थ ज्ञात है..जीवन का आनन्द क्या होता है, और अमरत्व को कैसे प्राप्त किया जा सकता है, यह तुम्हें पता ही नहीं..तुमने तो अपने जीवन को केवल रोते-झोंकते, सोते …व्यर्थ के ही कार्यों में उलझ कर बर्बाद कर डाला।
