शिलान्यास पद्धति पुस्तक

नीव पूजन नया घर बनवाने में सर्वप्रथम नींव की पूजा होती है। शास्त्र के अनुसार मकान मालिक नींव में नाग-कच्छप आदि की पूजा करके पहले स्वयं कम से कम ५ ईंटा जोड़ दे, तब उसके बाद मिस्त्री-मजदूर-राजगीर को आगे की जुड़ाई करनी चाहिये। गृहारम्भ विषयक जो वास्तुपद्धतियां उपलब्ध हैं, उनके अनुसार संस्कार कराना कठिन है, क्योंकि पद्धतियों के अनुसार समुद्र का जल, तीर्थजल-सुवर्णजल-रजतजल, सर्वोषधि-वृषशृङ्गोदक-फालकृष्ट- मृदुदक आदि ऐसी-ऐसी वस्तुओं के जल से ईटा धोने का प्राविधान है, जो सामान्यतः गृहस्थी में एकत्र कर सकना कठिन है।

सामान्यतः आजकल पंचदेव पूजन करके ईंटा की पूजा-भूमिपूजन-नाग-कच्छप आदि की पूजा की जाती है और नींव देने का काम (गृहारम्भ) जुड़ाई शुरू किया जाता है। इस पुस्तक में इसी प्रचलित विधि को सुगम रूप में लिखने का प्रयास किया गया है। प्रयत्न यही है कि कोई भी आवश्यक विषय छूटे नहीं और सभी पद्धतियों का समीकरण भी हो जाय। गृहारम्भ की पद्धतियों की कमी नहीं है, लेकिन साधारण पुरोहितों के लिए ये पद्धतियाँ भ्रमजाल हैं। इसी भ्रमजाल से निकलने तथा बिना किसी से पूछे या बिना किसी अटकाव के एक सामान्य पुरोहित भी नींव की पूजा करा ले- इसी दृष्टिकोण से यह पुस्तक तैयार की गई है।
