भगवती की साधना करने का विशिष्ट समय रात्रिकाल माना गया है इसलिए यदि हो सके तो रात्रि ८ बजे से २ बजे के बीच ही अपनी साधना करनी चाहिए৷ लेकिन यदि ऐसा सम्भव न हो सके तो अपने समय की स्थिति के अनुसार समय निर्धारण कर लेना चाहिए, क्योंकि कुछ ना करने से अच्छा कुछ कर लेना है৷
