Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit (दक्षिणावर्ती शंख के लाभ): Shankh is worshiped in any spiritual and Vedic work. All the conch shells that are found are usually open from the left side, but the conch which opens on the right side is called “southward conch”, this conch is found in the verdant depths of the sea.

In the scriptures, the south-facing conch is considered to be the form of Lord Narayan, as it is the favorite conch of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu, there is a Southward conch in the hands of Goddess Lakshmi, Mother Durga and Lord Vishnu, it is believed that where the conch is Southward, It happens that Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu and Mother Durga are present there.

Note: The Dakshinavarti Shankh (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) is not used for blowing, it is worshiped in the form of Mahalakshmi.

Kinds of Dakshinavarti Shankh:

There are two types of Dakshinavarti shankh (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) shells found in India.

1. Male Southward conch: The conch whose layer is thick and heavy, the conch is called male Southward conch.
2. Female Southward conch: Conch shell which is thin and light in touch, is called female Southward conch shell.

Siddha Dakshinavarti Shankh:

The south-facing conch shell is easily found, but it is not energized, some people think that washing the conch in raw milk makes it energized , but it is not so, all Yantra, garlands, conch shells and worship items has its own legislation to make life energized.

The south-facing conch shell is covered with Mahalakshmi Beej Mantras, is consecrated by Sri Sukta Vidhan, then chanting Lakshmi Beej mantras on this conch, to make this conch proven.

Whenever used, one should use the life-energized south-facing conch, only then the user gets its full benefit, otherwise not.

Artificial Dakshinavarti Shankh:

There are many Dakshinavarti Shankh (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) in the market are artificial which are made of calcium, so take the shankh from anywhere but from a reliable institution, which can give you the right shankha, the real shankha may be costly, but its benefits are many, good clockwise Shankh is found in Gujarat, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, this conch is called Lakshmi Shankha.

Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit:

According to Hindu scripture, the house wherein the Southward conch shell is established, the house always remains with the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, so that the abode of wealth and prosperity remains forever in her house.

According to Vastu, if you worship the south-facing conch with full rituals, wrap it in red cloth and keep it in your home, you can get rid of problems like lack of money, sterility, impoverishment, and Vastu-doshas.

The worship of Dakshinavarti Shankh:

In the Hindu scriptures, the southward conch is said to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi, to establish this conch on Monday or Thursday, before installing the Dakshinavarti Shankh (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) must be sanctified and energized in the house, it should be purified, by placing the conch on a red cloth. Worship Shank with panchamrit, Ganga water, milk, lightening lamp, etc., chant the following mantra 108 times.

दक्षिणावर्ती शंख के लाभ/Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit

दक्षिणावर्ती शंख के लाभ (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit): किसी भी आध्यात्मिक तथा वैदिक कार्यों में शंख की पूजा अवश्य ही की जाती है। समान्यता जितने भी शंख पाए जाते है, वे आधिकतर बाई तरफ से खुलने वाले होते है, लेकिन जो शंख दाई तरफ खुलता है, उसे ही “दक्षिणावर्ती शंख”  कहा जाता है, यह शंख समुंद्र की सिंदूर गहराइयों में पाया जाता है।

शास्त्रों में दक्षिणावर्ती शंख  को भगवान नारायण का स्वरूप माना गया है, क्योकि यह देवी लक्ष्मी तथा भगवान विष्णु का प्रिय शंख है, माँ लक्ष्मी, माँ दुर्गा तथा भगवान विष्णु के हाथ में दक्षिणावर्ती शंख  होता है, ऐसा माना जाता है, की जहां दक्षिणावर्ती शंख होता है, वहां माता लक्ष्मी, भगवान विष्णु तथा माता दुर्गा साक्षात् विराजमान होती है।

नोट: दक्षिणावर्ती शंख (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) बजने के काम नहीं आता, इस शंख को महालक्ष्मी स्वरूप मानकर पूजा की जाती है।

दक्षिणावर्ती शंख के प्रकार:

भारत में दक्षिणावर्ती शंख (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) दो प्रकार के पाये जाते हैं।

1. नर दक्षिणावर्ती शंख: जिस शंख की परत मोटी तथा भारी होती होती है, वह शंख नर दक्षिणावर्ती शंख कहलाता है।
2. मादा दक्षिणावर्ती शंख: जिस शंख कि परत छुने में पतली तथा हल्की होती है, वह शंख मादा दक्षिणावर्ती शंख कहलाताहै।

सिद्ध दक्षिणावर्ती शंख:

दक्षिणावर्ती शंख (Dakshinavarti Shankh Benefit) हर जगह आसानी से मिल जाती है, पर वह प्राण-प्रतिष्ठित नही होते, कुछ लोगो सोचते है, की शंख को कच्चे दूध में धोने से शंखप्राण-प्रतिष्ठित हो जाता है, पर ऐसा नही है, सभी यंत्र, माला शंख और पूजा वस्तुओं को प्राण प्रतिष्ठित करने का अपना-अपना विधान है,
