Shivling Puja Stand/Brass Shivling Stand (शिवलिंग पूजा स्टैंड) : The Shaligram are specifically described as fossil-stones which have taken shape in the Gandaki-river, and as characterized by the presence of discus marks. The legend, related at length tells us that Gandaki, the lady-devotee, performed penances for long years, and that she got a boon from Vishnu, which made Vishnu reside in her womb (in her depths) as her own offspring; the Shaligram-stones are thus the forms of Vishnu. According to Hindu Puranas (Ancient Scriptures), the lingam is incomplete without Jalhari, Yoni . Shivling Puja Stand in Brass (Jalhari) is beautifully designed Shivling Puja Stand with Nag (or Sheshnaag) on the top. Shivling Puja Stand in Brass (Jalhari) is perfectly designed with a better grip and a round platform to ensure the better flow of water or milk in a single direction. Shivling Puja Stand
The lingam is often represented alongside the yoni (factually means “origin” or “source” or “womb”). Shivling Puja Stand is also called as Yoni. Yoni is a symbol of the female creative energy; the goddess Maa Shakti. The union of lingam (Linga) and yoni (stand) represents the “united two-in-oneness of male & female”. Within Shaivaism, the sect dedicated to the Lord Mahadev (Lord Shiva), Shiva is represented by the lingam and the yoni symbolizes his consort, Goddess Parvati. Shivling Puja Stand
Lord Shiva from time immemorial has been worshipped in the form of Shivalinga. According to Linga Purana, the lingam is the sign of the formless Universe Bearer – the oval shaped stone resembles mark of the Universe, whereas the base represents the Supreme Power holding the complete Universe in it. The Linga Purana also supports the understanding interpretation of lingam as a cosmic pillar, representing the infinite nature of Lord Shiva.
According to Skanda Purana: “The endless sky (that great void includes the complete universe) is the Linga and the base represents the Earth. At the end of time the complete universe and all the Deities finally merge in the Linga itself”.
The lingam arises out of the base (Yoni) which also represents Parvati according to some Hindu Puranas. According to Shiva Purana, Lord Shiva is emerging from the Lingam – the cosmic pillar of fire – showing his superiority over Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. This is called as Lingodbhava (Emergence of Lingam).
