On any Saturday, between 7 pm to 10 pm, in a secluded place in your house or in the puja room, sit on a Black woolen mat facing west, in front of the Idol of Lord Shiva, in a plate filled with Kajal. Make a “U” and apply 7 dots using Kajal in it.
