सौन्दर्य लहरी पुस्तक के बारे में..

‘सौन्दर्य लहरी’ आदि जगद्गुरु श्री शंकराचार्य की एक महान रचना है। यह एक महत्वपूर्ण तान्त्रिक ग्रन्थ माना जाता है। इसके दो खण्ड हैं। ‘आनन्द लहरी’ और ‘सौन्दर्य लहरी’ को एकत्र करके ही ‘सौन्दर्य लहरी’ का नाम दिया गया है। सौन्दर्यलहरी (शाब्दिक अर्थ : सौन्दर्य का सागर) आदि शंकराचार्य तथा पुष्पदन्त द्वारा संस्कृत में रचित महान साहित्यिक कृति है। इसमें माँ पार्वती के सौन्दर्य, कृपा का १०३ श्लोकों में वर्णन है। सौन्दर्यलहरी केवल काव्य ही नहीं है, यह तंत्र ग्रन्थ है। जिसमें पूजा, यन्त्र तथा भक्ति की तांत्रिक विधि का वर्णन है। आदिगुरू भगवत्पाद शंकराचार्य ने सौन्दर्य लहरी नामक ग्रन्थ में मां त्रिपुरसुन्दरी के स्वरूप का बहुत ही सुन्दर वर्णन किया है। उनके अनिवर्चनीय स्वरूप का वर्णन करने के लिए ही उन्होंने सौन्दर्य लहरी ग्रन्थ की रचना की जिसमें उन्होंने बहुत ही सुन्दर ढंग से मां की स्तुति की है। वास्तव में इसके दो खण्ड हैं। इसमें प्रस्तुत स्तुति बहुत ही प्रभावी और रहस्यों से परिपूर्ण है। इससे कई साधनांए एवं ऐसे प्रयोग सिद्ध होते हैं, जो मानव जीवन के लिए अत्यन्त ही महत्वपूर्ण हैं। -Saundarya Lahari Book.
