Mulberry of Fruits Shakun/फल के शकुन-अपशकुन: The seeds and fruits of Mulberry are considered providential since ancient period. Probably for this reason ti is concerned with Oak tree, which was considered providential since ancient times and it had very high influence. Apple of Fruits Shakun:

According a legend once a king was pricked by the thorn of this shrub and hence he cursed the tree and the fruits (Fruits Shakun) became black. It is really astonishing that even after the curse; it is used to cure whooping cough.
Cabbage of Fruits Shakun:
Cabbage is liked as a vegetable by everyone and it is also considered providential (Fruits Shakun). It is also considered more providential if one stalk holds two cabbages. In India some people consider it as a fruit (Fruits Shakun) and use in worships.
Carrot of Fruits Shakun:
Since long it is believed that carrot makes a good effect on eyes. During 2nd World War the British soldiers were given the vegetable of carrots as meal so that they could fight bravely with German soldiers (Fruits Shakun). It is fact that carrot has property of curing eyes.
Carrot is also used to make medicines for intoxication and it is considered that carrot can cure asthma completely. Some elements in the carrot can cure Bronchitis.
Garlic of Fruits Shakun:
In orthodox garlic is said to be too powerful. The people, who watch horror show or movies, hang garlic on windows and doors. In some parts of Europe the garlic is baked and distributed for the protection. In East it is believed that in search of the souls the garlic is used and in religious festivals it is used. To hang garlic in the shop gives benefit and protects the shop.
Crunchy of Fruits Shakun:
This plant is considered as a member of the potato group. It is used in black magic because it has a toxic effect as opium. For a long time it was believed that the person who will pull this out of soil, will die instantly (Fruits Shakun). Hence it was dug by dogs. It is fact that when it is pulled out, a human cry is heard. It is also said that it is used in skin diseases. There are many other uses of it. It can help to make fertile to barren ladies.
Onion of Fruits Shakun:
Since centuries it was believed that if onion is hanged all the diseases are eradicated. Modern discovery has proved that there are some truths prevailing in this orthodox. If an onion is cut to half and kept it open, it attracts all the bacteria to it. It is also believed that if onion is kept under the pillow of a girl, she will dream about her beloved . The school students had a belief that if they rub the onion on the right side of their body.
If the teacher starts caning, either the cane will be broken or they will be having no feeling of whip. Some of them rubbed onion on the cane for their safeguard. Some young girls used onion to search their husband. They used to write names of many probable husbands name on the onions and sow those into the soil. The onion will give the leaf first will be her husband whose name was written on the onion.
Orange of Fruits Shakun:
Orange is believed to be an auspicious fruit. If a boy gives an orange to a girl, the love will form. During the marriage ceremony oranges are distributed and exchanged among the relatives. Some people think that it attracts the luck. It is also believed that if a newly wedded girl eats an orange, she will soon conceive. It is said that if the tree carry the fruit then it will bring weal.
Potato Fruits Shakun:
Many people even today believe that if potato is kept with the person, he or she will be free from rheumatism problems. If it becomes black or hard, it should be replaced with a new one. In Europe people believe that the potatoes should not be sown on Good Friday. If sown, it will not bloom.
For a better cultivation, when the potatoes harvested, everyone should taste it. It is also said that while eating first time some wish should be in the mind of the family members. In America people believe that if the crop of potatoes dries, there will be a good raining.
Blackberry Fruits Shakun:
If sufficient fruits are grown, the kidney bean lentil and sesame will grow more.

शहतूत फल के शकुन-अपशकुन: शहतूत का फल या बीज प्राचीन काल से ही बहुत शुभ माना जाता है। इसका कारण संभवतः यह है कि इसका संबंध ओक वृक्ष से है, जो पुराने जमाने में बहुत शुभ माना जाता था और जिसका व्यापक प्रभाव था। महिलाएं यदि इस फल को या बीज को जेब में या पर्स में लेकर चलें तो उनके लिए बहुत लाभदायक रहता है।
सेब फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
सेब का संबंध भी पौराणिक कथाओं से है। कहते हैं इसी को दिखाकर शैतान ने गार्डन ऑफ ईडन में ईव को मरवाया था। इस कथा के बावजूद सेब का पेड़ सारी दुनिया में अत्यन्त पवित्र पेड़ माना जाता है। इस पेड़ को नष्ट करना अशुभ है और नष्ट करने वाले के लिए दुर्भाग्य का कारण बनता है। अलग-अलग तरीकों से सेब के फल से लड़कियां अपने भावी पति की तलाश करती हैं।
इसका छिलका चाकू से इस प्रकार उतारा जाता है कि वह टूटे नहीं। इस छिलके को अपनी पीठ के पीछे फेंका जाता है और ऐसा माना जाता है कि छिलका भावी पति के पहले अक्षर का स्वरूप ले लेगा यदि ये छिलका गिरकर टूट जाये तो ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है कि उस लड़की की कभी शादी नहीं होगी। ऐसा भी विश्वास है कि सेब के पेड़ का प्रथम फल जो स्त्री खाती है उसकी अधिक संतान होगी।
झाड़ी के बेर फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
यद्दपि झाड़ी के बेर बहुत स्वादिष्ट होते हैं और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बहुत पाए जाते हैं, लेकिन इसके विषय में अनेक अंधविश्वास प्रचलित हैं। यूरोप में लोगों का मानना है कि इसका काला रंग इसलिए पड़ा क्योंकि यह शैतान के द्वारा थूका गया था। ऐसा भी प्रसिद्ध है कि एक राजा को इसके कांटे चुभ गये थे, इसलिए उसने इसे श्राप दिया और यह काला पड़ गया। यह आश्चर्य की बात ही है कि सारी किंवदंतियों और श्राप के बावजूद बेर की झाड़ी गठिया और काली खांसी को ठीक करने के काम आती है।
बन्दगोभी फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
बन्दगोभी सब्जी के तौर पर बहुत पसन्द की जाती है और शुभ लक्षण वाली कहलाती है। उस समय यह और भी अधिक शुभ होती है, यदि एक टहनी पर दो बंदगोभियां लगी हों। भारत में इसे शतदल फल भी कहते हैं और यह पूजा-पाठ में काम आता है।
गाजर फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
लम्बे अर्से से यह बात प्रसिद्ध है कि गाजर खाने से दृष्टि पर अच्छा असर पड़ता है। यह एक तथ्य है कि दूसरे विश्व युद्ध में ब्रिटिश सिपाहियों को गाजर से बना भोजन खिलाया जाता था, जिससे वे जर्मन सिपाहियों के मुकाबले रात में बेहतर लड़ाई लड़ सकें। वैसे तो ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि ये कहानी रडार की क्षमता के विषय में भ्रम पैदा करने के लिए गढ़ी गई, लेकिन इसमें कोई सन्देह नहीं कि गाजर में आंखों को ठीक करने के गुण होते हैं।
गाजर नशे की अनेक दवाइयों को बनाने में भी काम आती है और ये भी माना जाता है कि उबली हुई गाजर दमे की बिमारी को ठीक करती है। इसमें कुछ तत्व ऐसे भी होते हैं, जो ‘ब्रोनकाई टिक्स’ में राहत पहुंचाते हैं।
लहसुन फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
अंधविश्वासों में लहसुन को बहुत शक्तिशाली माना जाता है। मानते हैं कि लहसुन घर में से दुरात्माओं को भगाता है। जिन लोगों को भयावह कहानियां और फिल्में देखने का शौक हो वे जानते हैं कि दरवाजों और खिड़कियों पर लहसुन लटकाकर दुष्ट आत्माओं को दूर रखा जाता है। भारत में भी अधिकांश घरों के द्वार पर लहसुन टांगा जाता है। यूरोप के कुछ भागों में लहसुन को भुनकर परिवारों में बांटा जाता है, जिससे की वे सुरक्षित रह सकें। इधर पूर्व में यह माना जाता है कि लहसुन खोई हुई आत्माओं को वापिस लाने की शक्ति रखता है और धार्मिक उत्सवों में इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है। दुकानों पर लहसुन लटकाने से लाभ होता है और शत्रु से भी लहसुन दुकान की रक्षा करता हैं।
कचालू फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
कचालू नाम का ये पौधा आलू के कुल का माना जाता है। इसका प्रयोग जादूगरी की क्रियाओं में किया जाता है। इसका कारण यह भी है कि इसमें निद्रा लाने वाले अफीम जैसे गुण पाये जाते हैं। लम्बे अर्से तक ऐसा माना जाता रहा कि जो व्यक्ति कचालू जमीन से खींचकर बाहर निकालेगा, वह उसी समय मर जायेगा। इसलिए इसकी खुदाई कुत्तों से कराई जाती थी। यह भी तथ्य है कि जब यह जमीन से बाहर निकलता है तो चीख जैसी आवाज सुनाई देती है। इस पौधे का उपयोग अनेक चर्म रोगों के लिए किया जा सकता है। इसका और भी उपयोग माना जाता है कि यह किसी के लिए मोहपाश का काम कर सकता है और बांझ स्त्री को गर्भवती बना सकता है।
प्याज फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
शताब्दियों से ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है कि यदि कमरे में प्याज लटकी हो तो बिमारी दूर रहती है। आधुनिक खोज ने यह सिद्ध कर दिया है कि इस अंधविश्वास में कुछ सच्चाई के तत्व हैं, क्योंकि प्याज यदि कटा हुआ हो और खुला रखा जाये तो वह कीटाणुओं को अपने पास खींच लेता है। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि यदि प्याज को तकिये के नीचे रखकर सोएं तो आपको अपने प्रेमी के सपने आएंगे।
स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने लम्बे अर्से तक इस परम्परा का पालन किया कि अपने शरीर के दाएं हिस्से पर प्याज रगड़ कर स्कूल गए, इस विश्वास के साथ कि यदि अध्यापक ने बेंत का इस्तेमाल किया तो पहले ही वार पर या तो बेंत टूट जायेगी या उसकी चोट का एहसास बेंत खाने वाले को नहीं होगा। इसके लिए उन्होंने बेंत पर प्याज रगड़ने की चालाकी भी की। कुछ युवा लड़कियों ने भी प्याज का इस्तेमाल बहुत से प्रेमियों में से पति छांटने के लिए किया। यदि बहुत से प्याजों पर प्रत्येक प्रेमी का नाम खोद दिया जाए और इनको गर्म जगह पर छोड़ दिया जाए तो जिस पर पहले पत्ता उगेगा वही सफल पति माना जाएगा।
नारंगी फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
नारंगी एक शुभ फल माना जाता है। यदि कोई लड़का अपनी प्रेमिका को भेंट स्वरूप नारंगी देता है तो दोनों में प्रेम बढ़ता है। विवाह के अवसरों पर नारंगी का आदान-प्रदान अवश्य होता है। कुछ लोग इसे केवल भाग्य को आकर्षित करने का तरीका मानते हैं। लेकिन दरअसल यह इस बात का स्पष्ट संकेत होता है कि इसको खाने से नव-वधु शीघ्र ही मां बनेगी। इस वृक्ष पर अधिक फल होने से सुख आदि की प्राप्ति होती है।
आलू फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
बहुत से लोग आज भी इस अंधविश्वास को मानते हैं कि वातरोग से बचने के लिए कोट या पेंट की जेब में आलू डालकर चला जाए तो लाभदायक रहता है। ये जब काला पड़ जाए और लकड़ी की तरह सख्त हो जाए तो इसकी जगह दूसरा आलू रख लेना चाहिए। यूरोप में ऐसा माना जाता है कि आलू गुड फ्राइडे के दिन नहीं बोने चाहिए नहीं तो यह पनपेंगे नहीं।
अच्छी फसल की गारंटी के लिए जब पहली बार इनको जमीन से निकाला जाए तो परिवार के हर सदस्य को इसका स्वाद लेना चाहिए। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि पहली दफा खाते समय कोई न कोई इच्छा अवश्य मन में होनी चाहिए। अमेरिका में ऐसा अंधविश्वास भी है कि यदि आलुओं का खेत सूख जाए तो अच्छी बारिश का संकेत होता है।
जामुन फल के शकुन-अपशकुन:
इस वृक्ष पर अधिक फल आने से उड़द की दाल अधिक पैदा होती है तथा तिल की पैदावार भी अधिक होती है।
