Kokum Herb/कोकुम: Kokum Herb comes from an evergreen slender tropical tree with sloping branches, and it reaches a maximum of 50 feet in height. Kokum Herb has a thin lined bark and the trees flower during November to February. It yields tiny round fruits that are dark purple.

The Kokum Herb fruit when small turns from a green to a yellow, then it turns to red and then it finally becomes dark purple. The skin of the fruit is firm and hard initially. However, the fruit can be gently opened when ripened.
