खिडकियों को हर समय साफ़ ही रखें और पर्दे को दोपहर के समय खींचकर खुला रखें, जिससे ज्यादा से ज्यादा रोशनी अंदर आ सके, लेकिन रात के समय किसी भी खिड़की को बिना पर्दे के नहीं रहने दें।

फेंगशुई वास्तु (Fengshui Vastu) के अनुसार किसी भी कमरे में खिड़की और दरवाजे का अनुपात 3:1 से ज्यादा नहीं होना चाहिए। यदि किसी एक कमरे में एक दरवाजा है, तो 3 से ज्यादा खिड़कियाँ नहीं होनी चाहिए।

खिड़की को पूर्ण रूप से बाहर की तरफ से ही खुलना चाहिए, यदि खिड़की अंदर की तरफ खुलती है, तो खिड़की की तरफ पौधा या हवादार विंडचाइम लगाएं, इससे बुरा प्रभाव देने वाली नकारात्मक शक्ति वापस लौट आती है।

जितना संभव हो सके फर्नीचर को अंदर खुलने वाले दरवाजों से दूर ही रखें,इस बात का ध्यान दें, कि दरवाजा आसानी से खुलना और बंद होना चाहिए, कब्जों में अच्छी तरह से तेल डालें, उनसे कोई आवाज उत्पन्न न हो। फेंगशुई वास्तु (Fengshui Vastu) के अनुसार दरवाजे को कमरे के आकार के अनुसार बना होना चाहिए, दरवाजा ज्यादा बड़ा और ज्यादा छोटा नहीं होना चाहिए।

अपने घर में हमेशा बिना दूध वाले और बिना कांटे वाले पौधों को ही रखें, फेंगशुई वास्तु अनुसार घर में पेड़-पौधे विकास और उन्नति के लिए महत्त्वपूर्ण है, इसलिए उनकी ठीक तरह से देखभाल भी करें। इनको मकान के पूर्व, दक्षिण और दक्षिण-पूर्व दिशा में रखना भाग्यशाली माना गया है।

कांटेदार कैक्टस पौधा या बोनसाय पौधा घर के अंदर नहीं रखना चाहिए। कटे हुए फूल भी नहीं रखने चाहिए। मरे हुए पौधों और फूल, पत्तियों को एकदम फेंक देना चाहिए। अपने पौधों के लिए गमले ध्यान से चुने, गमले हमेशा प्राक्रतिक वस्तुओं से बने हुए होने चाहिए जैसे– मिट्टी, पक्की मिट्टी या चिकनाई वाला पत्थर आदि। फेंगशुई वास्तु (Fengshui Vastu) अनुसार प्लास्टिक के गमले का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहिये और गमले का रंग कमरे के रंग से मेल खाना चाहिए।

शहरों के फ्लैट और अपार्टमेंट के लिए पौधों को लटकाने वाली टोकरी का उपयोग करें। विंडो बॉक्स को घर की प्रत्येक खिड़की के आगे लटका दें, यदि आपके घर में बगीचा है तो उसका आकार चौकोर होना चाहिए और बीच में एक फव्वारा होना चाहिए।

बगीचे से निकलता हुआ आपके घर की तरफ रास्ता थोडा घुमावदार होना चाहिए, जिससे आपके घर आने वाले अतिथियों के स्वास्थ्य में सुसंगति आ सके।

फेंगशुई वास्तु (Fengshui Vastu) अनुसार घर की स्वच्छता:

यदि आपके घर में मरम्मत की जरुरत है, तो उसे शीघ्र समय पर करवा लें और अपने घर को साफ़ और सुन्दर बनायें रखें, कुछ लोगों को कचरा इकट्ठा करने की आदत होती है, जो एक प्रकार से वास्तु दोष को उत्पन्न करता है।

इसके लिए किचन की दराज और अलमारी को देखें, कि क्या इसमें पुरानी प्लास्टिक, खाली डिब्बे और बोतल है? अगर आपने इन सबको इस्तेमाल नहीं करा तो भविष्य में भी कभी नहीं करेंगे। इस सब कचरे को घर से बाहर फेंक दें।

घर के कचरे के साथ अपनी मानसिक समस्याओं को भी त्याग दें। अपने मन में किसी के लिए भी बुरी भावना और क्रोध न रखें। जो भी वस्तु आपको किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति की याद दिलाती है, जिसके साथ आपकी बुरी यादें जुडी है, उस वस्तु को फेंक देना चाहिए।

फेंगशुई वास्तु (Fengshui Vastu) अनुसार घर की सुरक्षा:

“कीमीर या किलोन” एक पौराणिक प्राणी है, इसकी पूंछ सर्प जैसी, शरीर हिरण जैसा, पाँव बकरे के और सिर शेर जैसा होता है। इसकी पीठ पर तीन सुनहरे सिक्के होते है। यह प्रहरी के रूप में हमारे घर की रक्षा करता है। फेंगशुई वास्तु(Fengshui Vastu) अनुसार ऐसी मान्यता है, कि यह बुराई का बहुत बड़ा शत्रु है। यह अपराधी तत्वों को घर में घुसने से रोकता है। इसे अपने घर के मुख्य दरवाजे के आजू-बाजू दरवाजे की ओर मुंह करके लगायें।

ध्यान रखें: ठग, चोर, हत्यारे जैसे लोग इसे अपने घर के दरवाजे पर न लटकाएं, अन्यथा यह घर सर्वनाश करने का कारण बन सकता है।

यदि आपके घर के खिड़की व दरवाजों के शीशे टूट गए हों, तो उन्हें तुरंत बदल दीजिए, क्योंकि उनसे बहुत अधिक नकारात्मक ऊर्जा उत्पन्न होती है, जो हमारे शरीर में दर्द व विकार उत्पन्न करने वाली होती है, जिससे हमारी आँख व कान में कई प्रकार के रोग व इन्फेक्शन उत्पन्न हो सकते है, इसके लिए अपने घर के सारे टूटे फूटे गिलास, चीनी मिट्टी के बर्तन, बल्ब, टयूब इत्यादि भी तुरंत हटा दे।

कमरे या हाल के बीच, बीम का होना भार व दबाव का मुख्य कारण बनता है, यह ऊर्जा के प्रवाह को रोकता है, बीम के नीचे मुख्य द्वार होने से एक प्रकार का मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव पड़ता है।, इसका परिणाम व्यवसाय में कई प्रकार की रुकावटे पैदा करता है।
